🍦🐾 Cool Treats for Hot Dogs 🐾🍦When the weather warms up, our pups love a little refreshment just like we do! Here are a few safe and simple cooling treats you can make at home:

❄️ Frozen Fruit Bites – Blend dog-safe fruits (like blueberries, banana, or watermelon) with water, then freeze in ice cube trays.
❄️ Peanut Butter Pops – Mix natural, xylitol-free peanut butter with plain yogurt, spoon into silicone molds, and freeze.
❄️ Ice Cube Fun – Drop a few treats or pieces of kibble into an ice cube tray, add water, freeze, and let your pup “work” for their snack.
❄️ Frozen Carrot Sticks – Crunchy, healthy, and cooling!

Summer days are fun, but the heat can be tough on our furry friends. Dogs don’t cool down the way we do, so it’s important to give them safe, simple ways to stay comfortable. Two of our favourite cooling essentials are:

🧊 Cooling Mats
These mats provide a refreshing spot for your pup to relax after playtime. They help regulate body temperature and are perfect to use indoors and in the car!

🐾 Cooling Bandanas
Just soak them in water and slip one on your dog for instant relief! They’re lightweight, stylish, and ideal for any occasion.

💡 Pro Tip: Pair a cooling mat with a bandana for double the comfort on extra hot days!

Keeping your pup cool isn’t just about comfort—it’s about their health and safety. Heat stress and overheating can happen quickly, so a few simple tools can make all the difference.

🌡️🐾 IMPORTANT: Heat Safety Policy – 23°C Limit 🐾🌡️

To ensure your dog’s health and safety during hot weather, we have a strict no-walk policy once temperatures exceed 23°C.

Here’s what we do instead:

🛑 No Walks Over 23°C
Once the temperature goes above 23°C, regular walks are cancelled for all dogs.

🌿 Garden Let-Outs
30 minute, supervised outdoor toilet breaks in the garden or shaded or grassy areas.

🏠 Indoor Enrichment
We can also provide mental stimulation and calm activities to keep your pup happy and relaxed inside.

🐶 Individual Care
We consider each dog’s breed, age, and tolerance to heat — no one-size-fits-all approach.

💧 Comfort Comes First
Hydration, cool resting spots, and constant supervision are always provided.

⚠️ Why this matters: Dogs can suffer from heatstroke quickly — especially flat-faced breeds, seniors, and puppies. Pavements can burn paws, and even light exercise can be dangerous in the heat.

We had the absolute BEST time on our trip yesterday! 💚🐾

Hello all!👋🏻💚

We have a secured date for our first 2025 field trip 😃🌳 We will be holding a trip at Savernake Forest with THREE walkers, at around 4,500 acres and full of hundreds of ancient trees it is jam packed full of trails and sniffs, the absolute perfect adventure!!! There will be NINE slots available, completely supervised by three of us to ensure each pup is given complete attention at all times. This will not only be an EPIC adventure but also a great chance to socialise, from seeing old friends to making new!🤩🤩🐾 This will be priced at £17 per dog and will last approximately 3-3.5 hours. (An hour travel time) and we will have a 20 minute break during this to rest legs. We will also have consistent water breaks as well as plenty of grain free, natural treats along the way 🍬💚
This will be held on Friday 9th May, pick up times will be between 1-1:30PM, Please let us know ASAP if you would like to book in to avoid disappointment! We are SUPER excited! 🤩😃🐾
