We're teaming up with to bring you an evening of educational talks on all things rabbit. Tickets are £5 in aid of The Bunnyjackpot Foundation, who do incredible work to help rescue rabbits, guinea pigs and other small furries.

Happy New Year to all my wonderful customers!

Last year was absolutely amazing - so many animals, both familiar faces and new ones, and some truly lovely bunny bonds!

Bookings have been coming in thick and fast since Boxing Day so please get in touch as soon as you have your holiday dates. I’ll be booking my own in today too!

Price Update

As of today, my prices for guinea pigs will be increasing. I’ve kept my prices the same since opening, but with rising costs, I need to make this adjustment to continue providing the high-quality care your animals deserve.

New Prices:

• 2 Guinea Pigs: £9
• 3 Guinea Pigs: £12
• 4 Guinea Pigs: £15

Lovely older chap Mudslide would absolutely love to find his forever home to spend his twilight years in.

He’s so deserving of a warm, safe home with a friend or two.

He comes with four weeks of free insurance (yes, even though he’s 8 years old!) and we could bond as soon as next week 🥰

Please, please insure your bunnies 🥺 One of my own buns became extremely poorly with a blockage on Tuesday, thanks to having insurance I was able to get her referred to one of the top vets in the South West who are thankfully based in Swindon. I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that without their care this week I would not be bringing my bunny home alive 😭 It’s been touch and go all week but she is finally on the up 🙏🏻

The bill is likely to come in at around £3000 which will be covered by insurance, without that I honestly don’t know what I would have done 😭

Due to this beautiful pair of sanctuary rabbits from The Bunnyjackpot Foundation staying with me permanently I no longer have an indoor set up. I do have a heated shed and for anyone booked in that requested an indoor pen at the time of booking I will set up a temporary one for their stay but going forward all accommodation is outdoors, please consider this in the winter months.

Just a note for my upcoming bonding bookings ☺️

The initial deposit is non refundable even if the bond is unsuccessful and regardless of the amount of time the rabbits are in the bonding pen.

I allow up to 7 days per bond, when I book you in I make sure my diary for the first 48 hours is clear as the rabbit’s need very close supervision. I can not take any bookings for home visits during this time, I cannot make plans with my friends or family and I cannot take another bonding or boarding booking for the entire 7 days as the pen is allocated for your bond.

On top of the loss of earnings from the above I also need to cover the cost of setting up, a thorough clean before the bond and after and the additional costs of hay, forage etc Plus the time it takes me to do all of this.

Bonding is an intense time, especially the first few hours and as much as I love my job and as you all know I am extremely passionate about rabbit companionship I don’t feel like I should be expected to do this for free.

Unfortunately I have no say in whether or not a bond is successful and although my ‘success rate’ is high, as an ethical bonder, I will never force a bond to work. Some just aren’t compatible and I don’t feel it’s fair for me to be out of pocket because of this.
