Great first session with young Marty today. Owners have called me for help with loose lead walking and reactivity. Having worked with a trainer and already using a slip this was very much about back to basics. So far the techniques have focused on the correction element, so are going to working on “balancing” that equation with teaching young Marty what we do want through positive rewards paired with the corrections where appropriate. Going to be a fun few weeks supporting their journey

Last session with the beautiful little Maddie today. We had a 5 week puppy program with the owners covering everything from breed traits, nutrition, sleep patterns right through to your typical puppy program of obedience. The owners have done a great job and cannot wait to see their progress when I return in a month or two for some follow up work.

First session with the beautiful Maddie today. Owners have signed up for my 5 week puppy course and had already made such great progress from the pointers I gave in our initial consultation. This one has puppy dog eyes down to fine art already, going to be fun

Been a big weekend for this young lad. Supporting me with our first group class being with and running around with his mate Gus (and being a little naughty), lots of new training techniques thanks to and mentorship. Poor dude is done in, good job we have a week away now little mate

Great first in person day at the and mentorship program. So proud of buddy today, longest journey in the car and not a sound there or back and settled in the car throughout the day when needed. Very much looking forward to the next lesson.

Don’t waste it…….use your dogs daily food allowance for training. You will be amazed what a difference 10/15 mins each day can do for your relationship with your dog and their general obedience. Feed raw? Buy some gloves, feed kibble? Good use it. We don’t always have to give extra high reward treats save those for recall don’t de-value the high rewards with simple commands. Most importantly enjoy the time with your dog.

Met Scooby and Shaggy today. What characters these boys are. Can you guess which one is which? 😂. Owners called me in to work on lead walking and lead reactivity. Our first session went well, looking forward to going back next week

Second session with Bobbie, she is a stunning little girl and such a star. Owners also baked me a cake 😍. Worked on some tweaks for loose lead walking and lead reactivity. She did amazing

Great first session with this lovely girl. The owners called me for help with loose lead walking and some general obedience at home. We talked about engagement and clear communication with Bobbie in order to set some boundaries and expectations. After a short walk we soon had her engaging with some toys and treats. Look forward to our follow up session soon

Great second season with Cody and Trexie today. First season was engagement building, loose lead walking and general obedience. It was such a joy to see the work the owner had put in over the past few weeks when we started our walk today. We worked on some fundamentals of recall and how to be “fun” outside with your dog, Cody especially likes a squirrel and is distracted easy but we soon had him focused and playing in order to strengthen that engagement.

Great first session with these two boys today. They really made me want a Labrador 😂. The owners have already done great work with these lads, I helped with some loose lead walking and engagement. Be back to work on some recall and general obedience soon, cannot wait.
