LOWER SHAW FARM HALF-TERM HOLIDAY
Bake and Make Workshops
Wednesday 19th February
For Children aged 5 – 11 years
(Children can be left, but parents/carers can stay if they wish).
Collagraph Printing Workshop £7.00 per child
Learn the art of relief printmaking and design your own print of an animal.
1. 10am to 12pm for 7 to 11 yrs.
2. 1pm to 3pm for 5 to 7 yrs.

Pizza Baking £7 per child
A baking session in the old farmhouse kitchen - make your own pizza from scratch!
1. 10am to 12pm for 5 to 7 yrs.
2. 1pm to 3pm for 7 to 11 yrs.

• Book for both sessions, and bring a packed lunch.
• Swing on the barn rope, and play in the giant hammock, in-between sessions.

Lower Shaw Farm offers weekend breaks, events and courses for adults and for families. Yoga and Massage, Crafts, Family Activity Breaks, Juggling and Circus Skills, Voluntary Working opportunities openings, groups, clubs, and meetings.

Welly Wednesdays are back on the 22nd of January.
Then back to it's usual rota of the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. ( except half terms so no Welly Wednesday on feb 19th)
We usally put a post on here the day before welly Wednesdays so look out for them or give us a DM asking questions.

​For more than thirty years, the Swindon Festival of Literature has been acquiring books, many signed first editions, from authors, publishers, and bookshops.
Now, it has too many for its little office by the hen house. They need a new home!
Might it be yours?
Most books, reasonably priced, will be on sale from 2pm.
Some, deemed of special interest or value, will be auctioned at 3pm.
The Lower Shaw Farm Café will be open. Come along and join the bookish fun!
NOTE. There will also be books for sale by Swindon Authors!
Yes, a chance to discover – and buy! - the literary works of writers who live in or are connected to our town. Their books include captivating stories, diverse voices, gripping thrillers, and even children's activity books. And authors will be present, for signings and chat.
