We were delighted with the turnout today, and how well the courses and ground rode in every class with zero fallers!

The very generous Andy Bowman gave up his time to pap you, he only asks if you could donate anything you can in return for your images to Wiltshire Air Ambulance . It takes the cost out of competing, so we are very grateful to Andy for doing this!.

Please find the timings for Sunday's Hunter Trial below. Remember on arrival to check in with the Secretary in the X Country warm up field. You will need to show your hat, body protector and passport. Hats and body protectors need to be at the current safety standards and passports need to show a flu vaccination within the last year. You will then be issued with your number. Dogs are not allowed. Snacks and drinks will be available in the Riding School office. Even MORE building and repairs today getting ready for hire to open... updating, scrapping older fences, and creating new ones, endless topping, strimming, and hire insurance are some of the reasons our valuable xc training venues close. Do support us and have a blast around our course.

Cross Country hire opens Friday 24th May. £30 per horse.
Weekday hire is 11am till 5pm ( to leave site at 6pm). Weekend hire runs from 11am till 4pm ( to leave site at 5pm).
To book you need to call 01666 860068 from Monday 20th May when the office team are back to take your booking. We do not take bookings on Facebook. We cannot hold conversations about hire availability on Facebook. Payment for hire is made on bookings- no exception.
We have over 100 fences from 30cm to 1m. And huge variety in fence type.
Remember body protector safety standards have changed. If you fail to present yourself in the new standards our insurance does not allow you to go ahead at our Huntertrials. It is your responsibility to get yourself up to date. The centre will not hire the new standards of body protector.

Due to how wet the ground has been it's taking longer to recover. We will not be ready for 26th May Huntertrial.
We will go ahead with the 9th June Huntertrial and aim to have hire open in the next week to 10 days.

Cross country schooling update: we have been sent lots of messages about xc hire open dates now it's a little dryer. The xc is not ready for hire yet.
We have removal of fences the flood water damaged beyond repair, unable to access the ground until now. The grass needs taking care of, it's been too wet until now to get a topper out, or the rollers out. Winter wildlife has caused fence damage. The xc must be safe, the ground must be ready, and the wet winter has prevented this.
We have a lot of work to do, we will have it open during May (mid ish). I appreciate that it's frustrating because fields are drying up you might think it would be open.
We look forward to welcoming you back, we will keep you updated on our progress

We cannot thank you enough for coming along today! You were all fantastic and supportive of each other and kind to all of our volunteer stewards and judges- without them we couldn't put on such events!
