**IMPORTANT NOTICE**

Apologies to have a moan first thing on a Monday morning but...

After a very busy weekend redesigning the reception area, I wanted to put a quick post about why I've had to do this ☹️

Despite the new sign, information text messages and constant reminders, people are still ignoring our request to call before entering the salon 😩

There are MANY reasons to why we ask this, but the biggest and most important is for EVERY dogs safety in our care! A couple of dogs have attempted to jump the gate and my stress levels have been through the roof! I hate to think what could happen if they get out of the main doors! So I have had to re do reception to make it all taller to reduce this risk. (I took a large loan out to open my salon and this extra cost has been at my own expense 💔)

This does not mean you no longer need to call, dogs may still be in reception as they're dropped off or collected, there is still a risk of injury if your dog sees you before we have finished, our tools are sharp and distracted/excited dogs and sharp equipment doesn't mix well. We could have a particularly nervous or aggressive dog that we need to secure... so many factors to this rule.

I don't want to lock the doors as it would mean Lauren and I are leaving dogs unattended to let each person in and out 🤦‍♀️

It’s so nice to work in a space where the pups are able to run around, play with all the toys Becky has brought in for them, but most of all feel safe and comfortable🐾 🩷
