Maidenly Dog Grooming I am fully trained in dog grooming and first aid. I am also qualified in canine behaviour. I enjoy showing my dogs and own large and toy breeds.

I use natural products within the salon and work on a 1-2-1 basis which promotes a calm environment.

Good morning, I wanted to share with you what happened last week with one of my personal dogs, Diddy the Bordeaux. Pyometra is an infection of the uterus (so it doesn't affect dogs which have been spayed). It is a life threatening condition and dogs presenting with this should be seen as an emergency, hesitating can result in death. Symptoms include lethargy, panting, loss of appetite, discharge and excessive thirst. Diddy needed an emergency spay. For those interested there are photos of a normal uterus and Diddys infected uterus in the comments, if your squeamish maybe don't look! 😂🐾
