Some more bad news, I’m afraid…. Last Wednesday my mum had a bad fall and is currently in GWH with fractured pelvis and shoulder. Situation is still very serious. I will know more in the next few days what to expect. I will go back in grooming just one dog a day, every day of the week from next week. If you feel that your dog is not desperate for groom please let me know so I can accommodate those that can’t wait. If you rather find someone else, I will understand that. I am sorry for the inconvenience caused but mum comes first 💔😭

Well, this year thought me the greatest sadness and loss as well as the joy of new beginnings. My little naughty girls kept me on my tip toes and didn’t allow me to sink into the deep deep grief….Instead they made me laugh and sometimes question my own sanity 😂
And with this I would like to wish all my loyal customers a better, happier and healthier New Year! 🥂🍾🎉🥳

PS to those who are not familiar with SharPei:
HC means horse coat - very short & rough to the touch. Can be extremely prickly
BC means brush coat - slightly longer, softer & has smoother feel to the touch

Hi All, very slowly getting back to work. This loss affected me worse than I have ever anticipated and made me rethink and revalue what’s important in life….
Any of you that have taken your furry kids to other groomers and are happy with service, please stay with them and just let me know. The ones that are still waiting for me, I will go through the list and arrange the appointments over the next week or so. Many thanks for all the support messages, flowers and patience ###

On Monday we had to say goodbye to my soul dog, to my my best friend, to my inspiration and the sole reason to function and carry on. My little Tik-Tok aka Taira aka Deakie Miss Sunshine is no more….
You did manage to bring sunshine in my life even on the darkest days! So far I can not imagine life without you. The nasty acute kidney failure took you away from me so unexpectedly and fast, I didn’t even have time to process what was happening.
Tairyte, at least you are not in pain any more and can create havoc with Sky and Lillums and of course send old good Charlie bonkers with the annoyance of all three of you. I’m sure Tessa will join you in all your shenanigans 😊
You always always waited for me by the front door…. I won’t be long…. Me and Poppy will join you as I already miss your stoppy licks so bad that it hurts…

Little update. My girl went into acute kidney failure 3-4 days ago without any warning or signs and at the best we have about 2 weeks left with her, providing that I can manage to get at least some food into her and carry on with IV fluids at home. TBH Taira doesn’t look good at all and I’m absolutely dreading the time when I will be forced to make that final decision. For almost 12.5 years she has been my bestest friend, my inspiration and everything I know and do for dogs (my own and others) I only can thank Taira for being the perfect guide. So, whilst she is still with me, I want to give her all possible and undivided attention, unless my other three need me for their daily necessities.
Due to only having very limited time left with Taira, i have decided to cancel all the grooms in the next few weeks. I will try to contact everyone personally but I’m really sorry if i miss anyone. I am absolutely devastated and heartbroken 💔
