I'm looking for more dogs, cats, and other small animals to join the iafct Pet People pack.
I have availability for single walks, group walks, and drop in sessions.
-
Single walks are designed for dogs who prefer a quiet walk, either by themselves or with my lab Percy.
-
For group walks, I like to meet and get to know the dogs before I match them up to other dogs, so I know they'll get on and match each others energy.
-
Drop in sessions are great if you're going on holiday and want someone to pop in to feed and spend some time with your smaller animals (cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and exotic animals).
-
I have over 10 years of experience working professionally with dogs and other small animals, and have owned a variety of pets throughout my life. I also have two diplomas in Animal Care and management, Levels 2 and 3.

I got the extremely sad news yesterday that Grace passed away, it wasn't unexpected, but that doesn't make it any easier for anyone who loved her. I'm so glad I got the chance to get to know Grace, and be able to take her on so many fun adventures.
Grace had her last walk with me on Wednesday, we went up the Ridgeway with Morgan, Dilys and Percy. She had a great time, splashing through the puddles and enjoying all the smells and I'm so glad I took the time to record her enjoying her walk. (My next post will be Grace's videos)
I'm going to miss being given shoes and slippers when I went to pick her up.

To celebrate iafct Pet People turning six on Wednesday, it felt like the right time to update our logo. This new logo features Spud, my dog who we lost in 2017, the same year I started my business, and the dog who taught me so much about dog behaviour. Also Percy, my not so little puppy who comes to work with me everyday and has been a great addition to the team 😁

Nell doing her favourite thing to do on a walk, following smells, though she never seems to find what she's looking for 😂🐕

Very pleased with how well Nell did yesterday with Ella and Pippa 😁 - Nell only really likes castrated males, but we walked with Ella and Pippa yesterday and she pretty much ignored them the whole time. Which is perfectly okay, I don't force any of the dogs I look after to interact with other dogs if they don't want to. Nell tends to find most dogs overwhelming, so for her to ignore Ella and Pippa and carry on with her scent finding was really good. 😊
