My Story
Welcome to Colton Canines, I’m Fay and I established Colton Canines in 2019. If you’re here you’re probably searching for your ideal dog walker. Offering a friendly, committed and professional service, Colton canines can help. Here’s a little bit about me and why I started my dog walking services. I first started working with Animals in 2016, whilst studying my Animal Management Diploma at Askham Bryan college. I left college and started work at a 5 star kennels which is where I chose my long term career goal - working and specialising in dog care. I started by gaining as much experience as possible, volunteering at Tower Veterinary group and then working for Medivet. I learnt about various aspects of working with animals - it can emotional, challenging and hard work but it’s the most rewarding, worthwhile job. I achieved my Level 3 (90 Credit) Diploma in Animal Management in 2017. I learnt various aspects of animal care including husbandry, law, nutrition and welfare. I then completed my canine first aid certificate in March 2019, I’m now doing a Part-time Degree in Applied Canine Behaviour and Training. So In April 2019, I began my business adventure and have never looked back. The past year I’ve met some new dogs and I’m so grateful for the continued support I get from my clients. I’m always looking for new faces to join, if you have any questions don’t forget to drop me a message.
