I hadn't quite realised how much I've missed going out & having fun with my little superstar. Thank you Fiona Harrison, great lesson. Feeling ready for some arena eventing this winter π©΅βοΈ

Indoor venues & riding with another horse ticked off our list β
She's been awesome, taking everything in her stride at Ledston & Croft Farm π§‘ππ§‘

Bev & her young RSPCA rescue pony Louis getting out hacking. He has been a pleasure to start under saddle. I am rather slow with updates these days so since this video Bev has already ventured out to Escrick & howden, Louis took everything in his stride β€οΈ
Fab session for Ivimae and her young horse Zac & pony Pepper. Zac is really green with his jumping, this was his first time over a water tray & through a combination of fences, he's such a good boy. Pepper was awesome too, listening to Ivimae throughout the lesson even though her friend Zac was shouting for her β€οΈ
Our homebred Aurora saw a full set of show jumps for the very first time this week. This was only her second time ever being ridden in an arena & she didn't seem fazed by any of the things inside or outside of the arena π§‘ππ§‘

My five year old homebred Aurora on her second trip away from home. Apart from being a little spooky about one end of the arena she was super. I've taken her education slowly as she's quite a big girl, but I think she's now ready for some consistent work. Really looking forward to cracking on with her now π€

We finally have transport again π₯³π₯³π₯³ Just in time to get ready for the Bramham BE80 Championship π We celebrated with another trip out to Ellie at Sykehouse for a grid work lesson π©· Nhala's canter has improved so much since last year. Very much looking forward to getting her out to do some gallop work & finding our rhythm out on the cross country course β€οΈπ

I do love my little horse β€οΈ After an easy winter of mostly hacking, we popped out today for a grid work lesson. I thought she may be at least a little rusty, but she felt better than ever π€©

Here's Vinnie after coming back from a serious life threatening field injury last summer β€οΈ It was touch and go when Vinnie's back legs became tangled in some wire while out in his field π€ After weeks at the vets, then rehab with Karina Hawkridge Physiotherapist Vinnie returned home to relax & heal over winter. Over the last few months he's been very slowly brought back into work & here he is finally strong enough to trot over some poles β It's taken lots of walk work to get here but these things cannot be rushed. Huge credit to Vinnie's owner John & the young girls at their livery yard that have helped/are helping on Vinnie's rehab journey too β€οΈπ
Early start today to beat the heat for Aurora's first trip out π§‘βοΈπ§‘ Despite the lack of rain, between the water complex, banks & a ditch there was still plenty to do with a green youngster. Hopefully there's some rainfall soon π§οΈπ§οΈπ§οΈ Giving us a chance to do a little more next time β€οΈπ

Aurora
First time standing in a partition for our homebred baby Aurora π§‘π𧑠It was a little bit scary at first so we took it nice and slow until she was happy to be closed in completely. A tasty bucket treat helped when she'd relaxed each time too.
