Energetic pup Mango recently adopted from Dogs Trust having a great holiday with us! He is a bundle of energy but lots of fun and loves a lap to cuddle on 🧡

He is having lots of fun with doggy friends whilst with us and has lots of role models to help him develop. We love him!

Lovely boys Cola and Liquorice are brothers looking for a home together. 🖤 I am fostering them but they are being rehomed through Cats Protection, so all rehoming enquiries must go through them.

They are typical kittens, very happy and confident. Can live with a cat friendly dog, another cat and any age children as long as the children are gentle with them. They need their own garden and to live away from a busy road. They have been microchipped and had their first vaccination.

Welcome to these Puglets, Moxxi and Lacey 🐾

They are very sweet and love a good sniff walk. With the weather being so hot recently, we have just had some garden time during visits. We actually managed to get out for a stroll today though as the weather was more Pug friendly! ⛅️

Gosh I can't believe a month has gone by and I haven't posted anything! Spent some amazing time in Dublin seeing my sister and her family (who now live in Australia) and then time in the UK with them. Since they have gone home it's been super busy here, so just catching up with my posts 🙈

There is always lots of wrong advice shared about heatstroke so sharing this to promote the correct information!

Is it safe to give your pets ice cubes? 🧊

Every year pet owners are warned that ice is dangerous, and that it might send them into shock! However, there is no evidence to support this claim.

Preventing your pet from overheating is really important, so here are some things you can do to keep them cool:

- Put ice in your dogs water bowl to keep the water cool
- Put crushed ice in their food bowl for them to lick

It's always important to remember NOT to give ice cubes to a pet that is suffering from heatstroke. They need water to drink and cool water poured over their body, you should also call your vet as soon as possible! ⚠️

Basil and Rosemary went together to their new home today. They have very much landed on their paws and have an older cat, dogs, chickens and a toddler to keep them entertained!

Welcome fluff-ball Ruby 😍. She is a Romanian rescue and has come so far since being with her lovely owners. She can be a little dog reactive to some dogs and also gets worried by a few things out and about. Her owners were recently away and although family members stayed with her, they were not able to walk her. I had the pleasure of taking her out and she was an absolute delight. We even made a new doggy friend who we met on a walk one day 🧡
