A lovely way to spend a chilly January day.
Judging from a toasty warm car,,,, a really lovely selection of horses.
Thanks to everyone that braved the cold to come and join us.

What do they look like ?
They are us we are all dressage divas.
Every day I see beautiful harmony between horse and rider, and yet so many of you worry about not being good enough.
Don't compare yourself to others look at your own achievements and remember all of the times dancing with your horse made you smile and gave you that sense of pride.
ABDM is a big tribe of wonderful people and amazing horses ,we do everything from joyous hacking to international dressage.
You compete for yourself, your riding club your country.
I'm proud to say you all promote a wonderful network of support. A win for one is a win for all, whatever that win may be.
Be proud ,you're part of an amazing team and I'm very happy to be able to help you live your dreams.

Why is it we leap into new year full of resolutions and optimism, and then the first week of January brings grey days dark mornings and plenty of weather making it a struggle to lift the duvet let alone greet the days tasks with enthusiasm.
We're humans not dormice so hibernation is not an option, the only option is to put on your weatherproof layers and dance yourself into action.

After a great weekend of DTM sessions I can officially say it works !
Every rider left with a new playlist and a plan to enjoy more dancing in 2025 and the horses soon cheered up once the sound box started working.
Did we get wet, did we get cold ? Yes !
Did it stop the fun ? No !
Long may the effects last ,and let's keep dancing 🎶

It's a very rare day when weather stops play, but I think the latest storm has beaten us.
With roads closed by fallen trees and stong winds persisting,we've had to make the decision to cancel all sessions today.
Don't worry I won't be putting my feet up, the studio is a cosy haven, so I will be in there conjuring up some lovely christmas Christmas music creations.

Wow It's been a busy summer,
Thanks to everyone that came and danced in the rain and sunshine.
The Autumn looks to be starting off just the same, with plenty of you trusting us with your new freestyles, plus the Christmas party fun sessions a booking up.
Don't forget I've also got the meet and greet
" Everything you need to know about dancing with your horse" sessions.
Where we retire to a friendly pub and I can talk you through all of the basics and answer those questions you may have.

I'm already booking sessions through to December, so if you've got a specific date you'd like please get in touch.

I'm glad to say Gasston Stables Lucy Allum will be continuing their brilliant dressage to music competitions into 2025, their support this year has been amazing giving so many people the opportunity to compete freestyles in a supportive and encouraging environment.

So guys, let's keep dancing and sharing the harmony ,the world of dressage needs us !

A brief break in the summer , the perfect opportunity to rest and recharge before heading out on more adventures. I'm so lucky to love what I do , summer is full on with clinics, camps, studio work,and commentating and to get the opportunity to spend quality time with dear friends just chilling on the Isle of Wight was an absolute oasis . #dressage #dressagetomusic #horsesofinsragram
