Our boarding friends over the road have a newbie staying with them and it turns out it’s Skye’s daughter from our litter 10years ago

So we had a little reunion and wow they are so alike in temperament

Today we were in Carlis Canine Park in Fisherwick, and the dogs had a blast. They loved running round the field, playing on the equipment and to finish off we had ‘dog friendly’ meaty bubbles (Winters favourite game)

Today we headed over to a lovely dog park, just off Muckley Corner. It’s a beautiful field that you can drive into. It has plenty of things for the dogs to play with including toys, agility equipment and a paddling pool. It also has a water station and hose to shower the dogs if they get muddy. Highly recommend Lichfield K9 Fields

My girls have a raw barf diet and today they are enjoying a fresh beef throttle.

Often dogs with joint pain are prescribed glucosamine. I've read that a medium sized dog could be recommended about 1000mg to ease the pain. Well, 30g of beef throttle could have about 1400mg of glucosamine. You could go down the synthetic supplement route or you could opt for something more natural.

You don't have to wait until your pet is experiencing joint pain either. It's recommended that younger dogs also benefit from a glucosamine boost to keep their joints supple for longer.

What's great about this product is that it is completely bone free. Dogs, daft things that they are, can choke on large bone fragments or fracture teeth on bones that are too hard. Because this is just chewy, soft cartilage, you dog will have a blast munching away on something that is so nutritional.

These are available from majority of raw shops but we got ours from Charlie & Co . They have a wide range of natural treats and raw food available

I’m very proud to hold a valid license to the highest standard by Lichfield Council.

There are however a lot of boarders out there including some in Tamworth that are advertising on Tamworth pages that aren’t licensed and illegally boarding dogs

Please insure you check a boarder/daycare are licensed by the council and hold valid insurance.

If they don’t hold these, please don’t let them look after your doggy’s. These businesses will make any excuse up why they don’t have one (such as they don’t require one because they are a new small business etc)
By law if anyone is looking after your dog in there home for payment must hold a license

There is a list on Lichfield and Tamworth council websites of licensed boarders

If I’m unavailable to look after your beloved dogs/ you need a back up or just would like another boarder I’m happy to recommend other licensed boarders in the area

Businesswoman Georgina Bodle turned a rented property in Drayton Bassett into a boarding kennel and breeding centre without a proper licence, with dogs kept in shocking conditions
