🩷 Auntie Amie’s dog wagon! 🚐

🚐 My van is the Toyota UK all electric Proace City (SWB panel van)- unlike most swb vans, it has two sliding doors, making access easy for me and the dogs!
🍃 🌍 I’m proud to drive an all electric vehicle! No nasty diesel fumes being pumped into the air yay!
🐾 it was really important to me that the set up was accommodating for all dogs… this includes dogs that don’t like crates or have never been in a crate. There’s also a space on the front seats for those more nervous travellers. I didn’t want the typical dog walker set-up of crates piled on top of one another. My set-up works perfectly for the dogs that I walk, accommodating up to five dogs; 2 large and 3 small/medium (you won’t catch me walking more than that anyway).
🐶 the dogs each have their own separate space so that they can relax and feel comfortable while inside, and there’s no risk of conflict while I’m driving. My amazing crash tested B25 crate has a removable solid divider- I originally bought this for my jeep renegade which it worked great with, however the time had come to swap to a van, and it fits lovely! (it is secured down with ratchet straps to ensure there’s no sliding).
🐕‍🦺 the larger cargo area is divided using a strong doggy play pen. It works perfectly for hanging all my leads on, but also creating a divider which allows plenty of airflow around the van.
☀️ in the summer, I use non-toxic cooling mats and rechargeable fans to maintain airflow when the van is stationary, to keep the dogs nice and cool!
💺 my seat covers are from and I am obsessed! They’re waterproof so keep my fabric seats clean and dry, and the added extra of having my logo on is such a cool idea!
🏕️ I also plan to use my van for camping at some point in the future, which is why everything is secured down with ratchet straps- so that it is easily removable yet still secure!
🦮 the most important thing is that the dogs love it and are comfortable hopping in and out!

such a pleasure to look after these beautiful girls recently🦮🦮🐈‍⬛ it was lovely to stay with them and care for them all 🩷
(They even enjoyed a weekend walk with one of my regulars! 🐾)

just one of the extra steps I take to keep your dogs safe… Auntie Amie’s id tags! 🩷 why do I use these?:
- your phone might be on silent or engaged while at work, or you may not have signal or be allowed your phone with you while at work
- when I’m dog sitting, clients on holiday may be abroad and may be uncontactable
- I am most likely closest to the dog if they were to get lost, so it would be more efficient to contact me first
- it’s evidence that the dog is under my care if found
- it’s a legal requirement for dogs to wear id tags, which some clients may not have; this ensures I comply with the law

new logo alert! 🩷 🐾 very pleased with how it's come out ☺️ just a few amendments: i now have short hair, and added a cat and bunny 🐈‍⬛🐇 all drawn and edited by yours truly 😌
(i am aware of the irony of a schnauzer and dachshund being in the same vicinity as a cat and rabbit 🙈)

🩷 AVAILABILITY FOR GROUP WALKS 🐾

I‘ve got a couple of spaces free for group/paired walks!
• Group walks are neutral, structured walks in rural areas for your dogs to enjoy exploring and socialising with other doggies! 🐶
• Dogs are picked up from your house by Amie and dropped back after the walk. My van is set up for the dogs to travel safely divided up, to each have their own adequate space 🚐
• Dogs are paired/grouped based on breed, age and temperament, and Amie will use her years of knowledge and experience to decide whether your dog will be a good fit.
• Groups are typically limited to four dogs at a time for safety, however if there are more booked on then Amie will hire a secure dog field.
• To qualify to be a part of Auntie Amie's group walks, your dog must be sociable- this means being able to read other dogs' body language and respect other dogs' needs. They must be confident around other dogs and communicate their own desires without aggression.

Patchies 💔🌈

When I first started dog walking professionally I did not anticipate the type of bond I would have with the dogs... this girl will always have a place in my heart 💜Patchies has showed me so much love over the years- I will never forget her excited woofs every time I arrived outside to walk her 🐾 She was such a tough cookie- after going through so much with her health she kept going for many years bringing smiles to people's faces out on our walks- she will be missed by so many 💔I'll miss her big smiles, and her moaning every time we stop walking because she doesn't want to stop! It will seem so strange walking your little sister without you Patch... rest easy ☁🌈
