Misty is homed 🎈💕🥳🎈🥳🎈
Becky and Julian cheered as they got the green light from the homing team to jump in their car to rescue Misty. Both had spotted her and fallen for her charms and screeched up at 5.30 to meet Lloyd the man in her photos and finally meet her in the fur.

Misty is now their very own and homeward bound. We await pictures as it was very dark and wet but we weren't miserable...

On a number of occasions I've experienced a real stigma attached to big dogs interacting with smaller dogs, often by those with little ones.. Comments include:
"Oh he'll be too rough with her"
"My dog dislikes big dogs"
Pixie and Luna are buddies. Luna can be hyper and play rough but adapts her play when she's with Pixie.
I'm not saying a large dog and a smaller dog will always be safe.. its dependent on a number of factors like socialisation.
Much of the time, it's owners perceptions and body language which cause a dog to be anxious or fearful.
Be aware of your behaviour around other dogs... Our dogs read us and feed off our anxiety which often results in anxieties developing of their own! ⭐️🐾⭐️🐾⭐️🐾

I met the lovely rescue dogs Milo and Lia earlier this year to visit them while Milo's owners got married! I saw them again yesterday for a visit and some love...! 🐾💗
His owner told me Milo was born in a test lab where he was tested on for 6 months along with 100s of other beagles. They had no idea what tests were done to him. After 6 months the lab took him to Kenilworth Dogs Trust where they found him. They were unsure how he managed to get there because the lab had much more horrific ways of disposing of the dogs when they can't test on them any more. Can you believe they are still testing on beagles in this day and age.. and in England ... where you'd think we would be well ahead of such horrific practices....😞
Milo is one lucky boy 😍

Please can we do a big share for Freya like we did for Colin to find her a forever home by end of year .

Freya could be XL bully as she has been measured and follows some of the characteristics and she is at massive risk.

3 years old

 Tragic start in life used for breeding and has become fearful of dogs as a consequence.
 Very trusting and loving with people but we would avoid children..
 Can be left and settled in her own being.
 Grateful for everything she is offered.
 Building trust around other dogs who give her space and who are also on lead. Low dog density needed .
 Dear Freya we only wish we could have saved you before you were used and abused.

🐶Only pet home and children home .
