Pear Tree paws will be adding a free teeth freshen up with all grooms 😀. Your pups will receive their own toothbrush to stay with me and where possible I will provide a freshen up with my carefully selected Enzymatic toothpaste. I will be working really closely with all my clients to improve your much loved pets teeth.

I will be checking all pups teeth when they come in and will be advising if they should have a vet dental check. Where possible I will freshen them up which is so important especially for the younger pups to get them used to the process.

I will still be offering Emmi pet to anyone who needs more than a freshen up, Emmi pet will still be the normal cost but once they are sparkly and clean they can move onto the free freshen up 😊

Now for your bit. I am going to be encouraging all of my clients to work with me between grooms, I will be selling a dental paste that can be put on the pups teeth daily, I totally understand that brushing at home is sometimes unrealistic and the paste is effective in maintaining a plaque free environment in the mouth. Dentihex doesn’t require brushing just applying to the teeth in a few areas and the pups tongue does the rest. By working together we can improve pups teeth and help to prevent dentals in the future.

Please be aware some of your pups are not going to tolerate having their mouths worked on so please be realistic. I will always try my absolute hardest to work with them to get them used to it as long as it’s safe for me to do so.

Also if i advise a vet check up because the teeth aren’t safe to do so and need treatment I won’t be touching them.

Please remember I am not a vet, if you feel there are problems with your pups teeth or mouth seek vet’s advice, I am working on preventing problems 😊
