Dear Mossdale Manor followers and friends

Tomorrow I'm taking part in our Charity Walk alongside my Pegasus Group colleagues for Dementia UK. This condition affects the entire family and robs us of the opportunity to make the most of the later years with our relatives. There is also growing awareness of early onset of this terrible illness with an estimated 70,800 people in the UK have young onset dementia, which is about 7.5% of the total number of people in the UK with dementia.

In previous years Rae and I participated in the 100mile walk, which we unfortunately couldn't finish as she had an issue with her hip but we still raised a healthy amount to support the charity.

Dementia UK are the specialist dementia nursing charity that is here for the whole family. Their Admiral Nurses, provide free, life-changing support and advice to anyone affected by dementia.

I'd be very grateful if you could support me with a donation, no matter how small.

My friend Tracy Mayers is looking for a forever home for this beautiful little boy. He was rescued as a companion for her mom after her dad passed, hoping he would be good company for her but sadly, it's not working out.
It is very upsetting because he deserves to have the best life. He has had a traumatic start which means he isn't suited to a home with other animals or children.
Tracy already has her own two dogs and a cat and often has young grandchildren.
Please PM me if you want more details and I can put you in contact with Tracy.
He is a yiung boy, a small Collie/Chihuahua cross, currently in Oldbury, West Midlands.
He is scared of men at the moment, so would suit a female owner, preferably someone calm with experience of rescue dogs. He deserves to find a peaceful, calm and loving home. ❤️

It's a drizzly day but if your dogs want a good run, there are shelters in the fields so take advantage of the availability.

A great place to take your doggie, for safe off lead playtime with their pals. I'd thoroughly recommend you contact Carli’s canines dog park and book a slot before they're all gone. There is a shelter just in case it showers x

It was so good we had to do it twice!!
The girls and boys loved the freedom of the field and more were getting brave with the big tunnel. Highly recommend Carli’s canines dog park

We all had a great time yesterday at the Dog Park, so much so that even though it's going to be a wet one, we're looking to go back today and take Merlin who missed out and stayed with Lynn because the so called 'universal' dog guard wouldn't fit in either car. Roll on part 2!

Today we had the pleasure of meeting Doris a gorgeous 5 year old Old English Bull Dog and what a beauty she is. She had a good look around and has decided to give us the thumbs up👍.

It's so important that our guests feel comfortable and are happy with their room and housemates. Rae and Bow are excited to have her back for playtime and snuggles.

She will come again before her stay with us in November. Her older brother will come next time too, he's less fussy so mom has no concerns that he will settle and enjoy his time but of course we want to meet Bobby and welcome him into the hotel his home from home for holidays x

We welcome guests to come along and visit before a short stay (no limit on familiarisation) and to have a trial overnight stay for stays over 3 nights long. Your peace of mind is one of our priorities.

I had a lovely family come to visit today for a familiarisation chat and to book their trial stay for thier dogs and guess what? Rae decided to bark practically the whole time to the point Mom asked if she is OK with dogs.😲 Of course she didn't like being in her pen and not allowed to say hello but it's not the Rae and Bow Show.😳

She is great with dogs and perfect outside on walks, nice and quiet but Why?oh why? are miniature schnauzers such demanding little divas at home!! 🙈

Bow was also noisy, but set off by Rae who then had her so worked up she was ultra timid.

Time for a different approach and more focussed in-home training for the little madam.🙏

Please don't be put off by her noisy demands, she's learning to adapt to more activity in the home and is looking forward to having new doggy friends come to stay but I do apologise in advance. Photos of the noisy nutters, they are good most of the time honest.

The process to provide all the required policies, processes, qualifications and supporting information has taken some time being a new business however after the visit in April the licence has been granted. Its wonderful to have far exceeded the DEFRA standards and achieved the highest award available to a new business.
I look forward to welcoming future Pawsome Guests to join us for home comforts and a comfortable stay in one of our six guest bedrooms. 🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕❤

It's too warm to be outside now so we've retreated to the cool of the family room and the snozzies have all found a spot to chill. Bow is by my feet, Rae is in one of the pens (door is open as usual) and Freddie is on the cool floor by the garage door.
