Exciting times here at Djelibeybi! Following Resonata's Best Opposite Age win at Saturday's show, and combined with Czol's Reserve Best in Show win from April 2024 I have now qualified for my stud name! 🥳🥳🥳

I still can't quite believe I've done it! I'm so proud of my rats 🥰

Just made it here in time to wish a happy birthday to Urika's litter, then I realised there were two babies and one of them is Este ( Pedestriana) 🤣 happy birthday to her and her sister !

I have had a very busy but brilliant day at the show today, I'm very proud of my rats and the pet homed Djeli contingent who were out in force!

In varieties Resonata won Variegated, Best Marked, Best Opposite Age and won Best Novice for me

Over in pets her mama Pedestriana won Adult Owned Doe Adult, Adult Owned Doe and Best Pet!

Saponaria won Adult Owned Doe kitten

Back to varieties and Czol won Russian Blue and Best Russian, Snoxall won Black and then Best Self, and Dios won Capped.

I have more place cards but my brain is scrambled so these are the highlights 😆😆

Now that all the babies who were leaving have gone off to their new homes I thought I'd do a post introducing my keepers. These are my lovely bucks, Autocue, an agouti variegated from Moonchild's litter, and Antiphon, a Russian Blue variegated from Hyperopia's litter 🥰

The baby cages feel very empty now there are only my keeper babies in them 😆

I think this post is a perfect example of why the page goes quiet between litters. Taking photos of these hooligans is hard, even with bribery and I get frustrated easily 🤦‍♀️
