I haven't shared anything about this litter on this page yet, on the evening of the 19th Czol gave birth to 4 babies. Unfortunately one had already died when I did my initial check the day after, all three live babies looked fed and healthy so I left her to it. The next time I checked we were down to 2, 1 girl and 1 boy.

They are now 11 days old and their eyes have started to open, unfortunately for my waiting list these babies are likely to be either staying here or going to a breeder friend who has babies of a similar age. Unfortunately for me this additional mating was to hopefully give me more Dumbo options so things have not worked out as I hoped

The positive side is that Czol is being very attentive, seems to have a good milk supply and the two of them are growing nicely. Their eyes have now got the very tiniest of openings 😍

The babies are about 5.5 weeks right now and I'm planning to make decisions about keepers over the next few days/ by Monday/Tuesday and will then be contacting the lucky people from my waiting list next week

Este's babies are 2 weeks old today and adorable! I will never not want to be cleaned by small babies, isn't it just awesome 😍😍

How many 4 week old baby rats fit in a coconut? A lot! Apologies to you all but I am behind with admin, my delightful children brought home the second stomach bug of the month 🤦‍♀️ everyone seems to be on the mend now so I will hopefully catch up over the weekend I was also late upgrading the babies to a furet plus but I have done that this evening. I popped the coconut in and it started giving clown car vibes 😂

Yesterday I merged Pippi and Urika's litters together. Both mum's and all 19 babies are happily playing and snuggling up together and I thought you'd like to see the tiny explorers investigating the cage I love watching them starting to figure out that they can climb ropes and sleep in hammocks and wander through tubes
