Hyperopia's babies are a week old today 😍 they are growing nicely as well and are a lovely split of 2 boys and 2 girls.

Este's babies are 10 days old today and adorable. It's still a little weird to me that there are only two of them but they are thriving. They did not keep still in the tank at all, it's so funny watching them walk round when their eyes haven't opened yet

Hyperopia's babies are also doing well, they are the youngest but markings develop fast and you can already see where they'll have colour as they grow 😍

Today's Galadriel baby update 😍 already my photos are blurrier than I would like but never mind. I requested variegated boys but she said nah 😆 a good selection of girls though 🥰

And the last of my announcements for this set of matings is that yesterday we discovered these two babies in Pedestriana's nursery cage 🥰

I had assumed she had completely reabsorbed last last week as she shrank back to her pre pregnancy self on Friday and wasn't due to birth til Sunday. I left her in the nursery cage anyway and left her to it. Yesterday we could hear eeping as her sister gave birth but then my husband noticed that Este's bottom ni***es were very visible.

A search of the cage resulted in finding these two happily hidden away, Este has just been quietly getting on with things. They are definitely a few days old and I suspect she birthed Sunday as expected 🤦‍♀️😆

The second of my outcross litters was born yesterday, to Blaise Galadriel and Djelibeybi Ptaclusp IIa. I got my first peek today and there are 11 babies. A very quick check (because Moonchilds boy/girl split boggled my brain) and I think she has 4 bucks and 7 does

The first of my outcross litters was born on Monday to Blaise Moonchild and Djelibeybi Xeno. 15 babies were born but unfortunately one had died. The rest of the babies are doing well and had lovely milks bands.

Today I quickly sexed them and unless I'm wrong I think we only have 2 bucks and 12 does

Anyone looking for an older buck? This is a copied from a post in the MRC community group 🥰

We have a 16-18 month old dumbo male rat called 'Boris' looking to rehome as his cage mate has recently passed away. We want him to go to a home where he will have ratty friends and he can come with cage if needed. Alternatively, we are open to rehoming/adopting a male cage mate of a similar age/older for him if you know anyone in the Dudley/Walsall/Wolvo area that could help.

Czol is judging me because I'm behind with rattery admin again 😶 if you've completed my form recently and are waiting for a response I do apologise. It's half term for the small humans and one of my bigs keeps nicking my laptop, hoping to get on and go through forms next week when they're back at school!

I don't have any babies yet so nobody is missing out 😆😆

How many 4 week old baby rats fit in a coconut? A lot! Apologies to you all but I am behind with admin, my delightful children brought home the second stomach bug of the month 🤦‍♀️ everyone seems to be on the mend now so I will hopefully catch up over the weekend I was also late upgrading the babies to a furet plus but I have done that this evening. I popped the coconut in and it started giving clown car vibes 😂

Yesterday I merged Pippi and Urika's litters together. Both mum's and all 19 babies are happily playing and snuggling up together and I thought you'd like to see the tiny explorers investigating the cage I love watching them starting to figure out that they can climb ropes and sleep in hammocks and wander through tubes
