Bark & Bramble was established in 2022 in honour of our 3 Romanian rescues.

Our passion for improving their nutrition and mental wellbeing inspired us to offer high quality natural treats to others.

Here are some of our favourite chewy treats for the little dogs!

Clockwise from top left:
Lamb braids
Bully rolls or buffalo rolls
Lamb Trachea
Split antlers
Goose necks
Skin - venison, wild boar or beef
Pork rind rolls
Rabbit hide rolls

As well as the treats pictured, we’d also recommend hooves for something very long lasting and good for stuffing. Paddywack, pig ears, pizzles and lamb legs are also good!

The winner of best rescues from abroad are !

We’re really passionate about Romanian rescues and dogs from other countries where welfare and neutering is a second thought. Dogs are even abused and traumatised in the public shelters out there - the people that work in them aren’t animal lovers like they are here. They’re seen as vermin. They have no beds, barely sleep, have very limited food and water, and with huge overcrowding there is huge stress and it isn’t unheard of for the hundreds of dogs in shelters to all be euthanised in one go, no matter their age or character. They would have absolutely no chance if it wasn’t for the small private rescues and the kindness of strangers.

One day, I hope this will change, but for now, it’s a never ending fight to educate, neuter, rehome, and fight for higher standards of care❤️

Luna was one of the many bull breeds that end up in rescue neglected and unloved. Luckily, Luna found her people and now loving life!

Did you know, Luna is extra special because she gives blood, which has saved up to 28 other dogs lives ❤️

Yak chews have been restocked! Look at the stunning @caspar_the_stabyhoun chomping on his 😍 Yak bars are an amazingly tough and tasty treat for your dogs. Originally they were made for human consumption and they are still widely eaten by people and their dogs who live in the Himalayas. They are a high protein, high calcium and long-lasting treat, with a unique taste and smell. Dogs absolutely love this chew and it gives the humans some peace and quiet! If parts of the chew break off you can save them to put in the microwave!
