THIS BOY! I'm so proud of Mr Typhoon 🥰

Big love to his brother, Chinook, who couldn't be entered today because of a post-abscess bald spot (failed intros 🙄) who came as my emotional support rat, but ended up asleep in various hoods/tops/ on shoulders throughout the day 😂 We'll take that unofficial Best In Show for Chinook, and we will run with it!!

I'm not sure if you're aware by now or not, but one of my babies (Typhoon) is a needy little sod. Unfortunately he's a terrible shoulder rat, but he loves a sleeve, especially when it's fleecy and cosy 😂

We looooooove Han-made Hammocks ropes and hammocks! Such brilliant value too! And what's even better...you can shove 'em in the washing machine without worrying you'll damage it 😁

Lots has been going on in the background. Here is one thing I've been upto - the bag of fleece offcuts was overflowing so I've been making offcut ropes!
They'll be listed in sets in the comments with size ranges and prices for each set. Proces do not include postage which will be £4 to the UK no matter how much you order.

I told you I'd give you more warning for the next show; here it is! Typhoon is my only confirmed entry so far, you too can come and meet this tiny little legend 😂 Stalls tbc from what I can see, but I'll update this post once known :)

I do really recommend coming along to shows, even if it's just for half an hour and even if you're not showing your rats. It's a lovely community and there's such a wealth of knowledge that's happily shared!

For me, Autumn starts when Strictly starts. And I love sharing that with my lads! Dib wasn't paying much attention earlier because I gave him a wee bit of sourdough which he was devouring 🤣

Happy Friday everyone! My sofa companions are being somewhat antisocial this evening. Boys, eh?

I've just decided to edit this to say...this is far from aggressive behaviour. Typhoon is absolutely the submissive rat because he's as soft as a used tea bag, but Chinook isn't doing him any harm whatsoever, so don't panic 😂

Hello you lovely lot! I said goodbye to my last of the "summer" boarders on Monday, and I just want to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to everyone who gave me the honour of looking after your precious little ones over the last few months. It's been chaotic, it's been busy, but it's been full of love and snuggles ❤️

I have one half term booking, but other than that...I think I'm going to take the rest of the year off to prioritise snuggles with my kiddos. I've had a few complications with my group lately, plus I have babies who still need to be introduced to them!

I'm by no means throwing in the towel, and if you have an emergency situation or are struggling to find accommodation then please do get in touch. I couldn't be more grateful for how busy you've kept me since July!!

Also, a polite note, but I won't be taking 🌲Christmas🌲 bookings (unless already discussed) because that is my complete R&R time.

This is baby Typhoon. Him and his brother Chinook haven't quite graduated from sofa to hall playtime yet (or intros with my main group for various reasons beyond their control). Typhoon likes to beg for snugs, be given snugs because I'm an absolute mug, then he likes to burrow into my reasonably new sofa, which he's doing quite a good job at working his way into 🙄

Deeply, deeply sorry to hear of the death of this wonderful lady, Jane Goodall. When I first saw this particular video a few months ago, I watched it about twenty times and cried a fair wee bit because this isn't just an awesome charity that I support, but the amazing and very accurate words about rats just hit me!

APOPO is the charity, and they do amazing things. These little hero rats help go clear minefields and detect TB, but they're in training to do so many more incredible things. ❤️

He's also making sure that I'm getting on with making the Sunday roast for us all 😂
