Our babies .... π°π°π°
Sunday was an extremely difficult day and although we are saddened by loosing 2 of our babies we still have 3 very beautiful little kits, with round belly's and growing fur.
They all seem to be extremely active already and don't seem to want to stay in their nest, giving us consistent heart attacks!
1 week old today β‘β‘β‘
Our newest bun Coco arrived with us last week. She didn't have the greatest start in life and was rescued with her siblings malnourished and in poor health. Unfortunately, her sister didn't make it and after several months in her new home she lost her brother. He was her guardian and protector. Because of this she started to seclude herself and her owner wasn't in a position to give her the love and attention she required due to two small young children and several other animals.
Coco has been rather stressed out this last week and showing problems with toileting, however after a some gentle tlc and lots of outdoor run time and a healthy diet, this little lady is coming around beautifully and showing us the most gorgeous flops in the mud pit β‘β‘β‘β‘
With the weather being so hot, keeping our little furry friends cool is the main priority.
Cooling mats, cold fresh water, extra water based veggies and ventilation. Although bunnys aren't fond of baths, we've washed down their under bellies which they surprisingly enjoyed.
