Lots of happy tears home here today as Vorvashill Vertigo (Grafenstolz/Animo/Dutch Falco) ridden by the wonderful Alys Matravers has Won the NAF Winter Silver Novice Championships 🏵️

Lots of hard work and time has gone into this, and Rudi appears to be absolutely hitting the ground running this season! We couldn’t be prouder of this team 🫶🏼🤩

👏 Congratulations to Alys Matravers from Somerset, winner of the Prestige Novice Silver class at the British Dressage Winter Championships, riding Vorvashill Vertigo (aka Rudi), a British warmblood owned and bred in Cornwall by Kari Christopher.
Rudi injured himself and was out for most of last year … ‘we just got our scores in time for the regionals, and then to come out here today and take the win is unbelievable’ Alys explained, adding ‘we were crying when he went to the top of the leaderboard’
Alys has a small yard in Taunton and trains with Sue Butcher (Sue Petty to most of us) and Gill Longhurst and says she could not achieve this without the help of her support team
