Heazle Arena / Riding Centre and Stables is situated on the Devon/Somerset border. We provide riding lessons tailored to suit all needs and standards and offer tuition on an individual or group basis, adults and children by the hour or 45 minutes. You can learn to ride in safety and complete confidence with our friendly, enthusiastic team of experienced, local staff. At Heazle Arena, we provide a

full range of Livery services for adult’s teenagers and children. We have full Care & Custody Insurance and the riding stables hold a licence issued by Mid Devon DC which requires a yearly inspection. Liveries have free use of the indoor school and free use of large all weather arena. All horses have access to quality grazing and winter haylage is made from the farm. We provide general schooling for all sizes of horses and ponies or schooling can be tailored to a specific problem. Throughout the year shows are held on site including dressage and indoor and outdoor show jumping. Heazle also buy and sell horses and ponies as well as saddlery.

Anyone coming to the yard tonight or in the morning please be very careful the access between the barn and stables is very icey now it is freezing again, the turn into the entrance from the road is also very slippery

Christmas Eve Fun Day
36 children have a day filled with Christmas games and activities. Santa and his elves came to see the children pulling his sleigh full of sweets for all . Activities included decorating gingerbread men , dressing up the the ponies , pass the parcel , games on the ponies and loads more .
All the children went home with rosettes and reindeer magic food .

IN HOUSE SHOW today at Heazle just for children that ride with us . The day started with 4 showing classes kindly judged by Felicity Thorne & Jo Norton . The children came and did their best to smarten up the ponies before entering the classes and how amazing they all looked . At midday the gymkhana games followed with 12 different classes including bending , ride & lead , sock race & sack race . Lastly we concluded the day with 2 jumping classes . All the children rode brilliantly and left with a few rosettes . Thank you to all the family members who came to support the riders . Hopefully we will have another one in the spring .
A huge thank you also to Kate and all her helpers for course building , stewarding , leading and all the other jobs involved 🤩🤩🤩
