Unfortunately we have had a black and white cat brought in who has been involved in an RTA on Kingston road.
Sadly he hasn't made it and his microchip details are not up to date

Great news, our cattery is here.
We are able to offer our cattery again to our registered clients.
We have 2 normal pens and we are able to offer a single storey pen to any cats with mobility issues.
Please do give us a call as we have availability over the summer

Dogs and bones!!!
Yesterday Dexter defied the rules of science and managed to get his bone stuck on his bottom jaw.
Using a handheld orthopaedic hacksaw we removed the bone from his jaw.
Luckily he had caused no damage to any teeth or his tongue.

Sam the vets daughter is getting married next week, so unfortunately our hours at Ilminster are slightly changing.
If you have any problems or need other hours we are still available at taunton at normal hours

Congratulations to our receptionist Leagh who completed the London Marathon last Sunday
Leagh says "It took 4 hours 39 minutes. Really pleased and went very well. Didn’t walk or hit the wall. Ready to do it again 😂😂"

Woody escaped from his owners car this morning in the car park of The County Veterinary Clinic, Kingston Road, Taunton, TA2.
Woody is a large grey, neutered, male short haired cat.
He has a fractured (broken) left front leg. He may have some bandage on his leg. He is nervous but friendly. Woody has a microchip.

Our clients will remember our fabulous student veterinary nurse Alisha. She was so excited to start her training and follow her dreams. Alisha very quickly became a much loved member of our team, showing kindness and compassion to her patients, their families and her colleagues. She was dedicated to helping us provide superb care to our patients and achieving her goal of becoming a registered veterinary nurse.
Sadly, in early 2021 Alisha suffered a life changing head injury in a horse riding accident.

Matt, Emily and I honestly can't thank the team at the County Vet Clinic enough!!! (Sarah, Alison, Ellie, Sam & Rachel + the others who's names I don't know!) They saw Guv yesterday, who's not been himself for a couple weeks now, and by close of play today, he's home - minus a fang - but so much happier..... Wonderful service and communication all the way through.... he's really been taken care of! So glad he's home and happier.... We're putting his tooth under his pillow tonight to see how much the doggy tooth fairy brings him 🐾🐾🐾🐾💕💕💕🙏🙏🙏🙏
