Today is a sad and emotional day of closing my business. I started it in 2012/2013 after not really knowing what to do with my life and I didn't want a 'proper job.'
It started with one or two clients and quickly grew into a full time business, 6 days a week. I have loved every single minute of it! I think my busiest day was 35 horses and 3 dogs to walk with a 4am start and 7pm finish, it was awesome and was a lifestyle more than a job. I have met some incredible people over the last 10 years who have given me the privilege of looking after their wonderful animals! I have felt very lucky π₯°
Unfortunately as much as my mind loves the hard physical exercise, the changeable dartmoor weather, being outdoors and the long hours, my body no longer does! After my injury it cemented it more and I physically can't do the thousands of steps day in and out that I used to.
I have had a career change in the pipeline since summer last year, going into the aesthetics industry! It was a random idea from my amazing mum and I took with both hands and ran with it. I passed my level 3 last year and this year passed the level 4 π level 5 is later in October and hoping to smash that one too! It's very different to groom work, infact it couldn't of been more the opposite! But so far I've really enjoyed the training and my plan in future is to set up my own business doing laser treatments, specialising in tattoo removal. I have been offered a job to gain lots of experience from the most loveliest ladies in Newton abbot, I can't wait to start in August π
So whilst one door closes, another exciting one opens. Thanks to everyone who have used my services over the years β€οΈ its been a pleasure!
