Welcome

Hello and welcome to All About The Furries, and as the title of our page suggests, it is all about our furry companions, guinea-pigs aka piggie wiggles.

We are hobby breeders and a small rescue, located near Telford town centre, with excellent road links to surrounding areas such as Bridgnorth, Stafford, Shrewsbury, wolverhampton, and many many other places!

We’re not only a small time breeder, we also have alot to do with in the way of Rescue! In fact, more of our piggies are rescues than actually purchased! We are always grateful of any sort of donation, whether that be food, toys, housing, money, or through our amazon wish list, so you know everything we do and raise goes straight to the piggies: AMAZON WISH LIST

All of our guinea-pigs live outdoors.... sort of. We have a kennel set up for most and always make sure they have enough space to be truly happy! We have huge expansion plans to extend further in to rescue too!

We provide our piggies with unlimited hay, day and night, fresh veggies every other day and of course, always fresh water. Clean out can be as much as every other day but never longer than one week.

We plan ahead. We always plan our litters, using only the fittest and healthiest of our piggies. All of our piggies see the vet as soon as they should need to, nails are regularly clipped and longer coats are brushed and groomed as much as is needed.

So.... are you still wanting a guinea-pig or two to add to your family? We re-home all of our guinea-pigs in pairs as a minimum, unless they are in addition to piggies you already own. Guinea-pigs are social animals and should always kept with other piggies!

Usually Sow’s (females) are in highest demand as pets, but don’t discount the boars!! When they’re bonded, they are often bonded for life!!

What will you receive when collecting your Guinea-pig? Well.... unlike alot of other places, we actually provide you with a very small piggie package to take with your new addition, no matter how old they are. You will receive a small bag of food they are currently on and also a small bag of hay..... oh.. never forget the hay. It is a great idea to take these items with them as standard so they have familiar food and no upset tummies. Just imagine, they’re probably nervous enough as it is. You can also upgrade all these items at an additional cost and we can supply large bags of hay, food etc too! Just ask for pricing.

Anyway.... that is a little about us. Follow our page and watch for litters coming up, see how our piggies are kept. Always make sure you see where parents are kept and bought up if possible. It’s always nice to see that the parents are looked after just as much as the babies are!
