10 days since we received the 250 jumbo Koi from Cuttlebrook Koi Farm Cuttlebrook Koi Community feeding well and lost none 👌

1700ltr tank heated to 23c.

Will be culling in a few weeks to reduce by about half, so will have some fry available if anyone would like to buy any.

So following the delivery yesterday, the jumbo Koi fry (250) from Cuttlebrook Koi Farm have settled in nicely, I originally had them split out from other fry, but a few escape artists help me decide to just mix them in the open tank. I've also put a mesh around the pump to keep the smaller fry safe!

We will need to be reducing the numbers each month over the next three months to allow the others to grow.

Grow-on pond started, using 4x2 and will be a max 1700ltr. Jumbo koi fry due to arrive first week of August.

Shropshire Koi page is for Koi enthusiasts in, but not restricted to Shropshire.

This page will follow our journey from building a grow-on pond for fry, to the growing of the japanese Koi, which will then be made available to all the members.

Our first delivery of Koi, which are from Cuttlebrook farm, will be arriving in the first week of August 2020.

All advice, tips and encouragement would be greatly appreciated.
