We are soooooo excited for Hamster Fair over here!

Busy preparing on this hot day but we thought we’d share our Raffle for this year…

For this year’s raffle you can win a Large Cloud Sand bath which is a beautiful addition to your hamsters enclosure.

Each ticket is £1, we will be opening our raffle entry at the start of the day and will close at 3:30 when our raffle will be drawn.

As it’s guinea pig appreciation day today we thought we’d share this lovely photo of Boris, Poppy and Norma (pig on the right)

As you might have guessed Norma is our newest addition to the herd and we absolutely love her.

We adopted her from last week and she is already starting to become more confident and getting along with our other two very well. She loves to sit in the hay pile eating the hay from around her long fluffy potato body with Boris and Poppy, she is a lovely girl and fits in just perfectly.

Thank you so much for this lovely girl Norma and for helping us to transition her into her new forever home as smoothly as ever.

Coming very soon! New Hammock Stand Designs. Featuring a ramp at the front but either positioned left or right to suit your setup. Also an in line version with the ramp at one end so your piggies can have an unrestricted view from their hammocks :)

Also releasing are brand new hammock stand loft and ramp liners exclusively from to match the new designs, and all the existing hammocks still work with these new designs too.

We’ll be releasing later this week ready for ordering. Keep a look out as they’ll only be available on our website with a full range of options as our original designs.

Hi Everyone! I know it’s been a while but we’ve been super busy, so thought we would show you a few things we’ve been upto recently which have now made their way on to our website and some things on Etsy too. All made with eco-friendly non-toxic ply with no added formaldehyde as always and the sandbox and watchbox both use non-toxic and pet safe glues to bond everything together. We just wanted to let you all know that we had to have Poppet our little piggy pts a little while ago now due to her very old age. Poppet had been with us for nearly 8 years, through the highs and lows, she has always been there for cuddles on the sofa and happy little popcorns waiting for her breakfast. She was the bestest piggy anyone could ever ask for, she was so kind to Poppy and Boris when they first came to us, such a quiet little soul yet filled with personality, it feels so empty without her now. 🌈🐷

They come in a range of sizes to suit your enclosure and setup, each in brand new thicker 9mm safe formaldehyde free wood in comparison to other businesses offering platforms.

All platforms can be ordered on their own, this allows customers with existing platforms and legs to order just our brand new platforms and if you do need legs can order these separately in sets of 4 to the lengths you need.

Here’s another very exciting custom order we have recently designed and assembled…

This is a Gerbilarium/ cage/ tank topper made for two very lucky Gerbils.

The cage topper is connected securely to an adapter frame, which then sits in the base of the lid. This can then be detached for access & easy cleaning by twisting the wooden latches.

Did anyone see this at hamster fair?

Hamster safe wood and what to look out for, this doesn’t just apply to hamsters, but it also applies to all small animals too.

it’s so important to look out for companies that might be selling this unsafe wood because it really isn’t worth the risk of your little ones lives.

With their delicate respiratory systems and body’s we need to make sure as a community we are spreading this information to make a change so that we are not buying products from the likes of Shein, Rosewood and Pets at home, which have little interest in keeping your animals safe!

Everyone has the ability to lie to you about what they are using to create a product that is for an animal because in the uk there are no laws, checks or regulations that any product has to pass to ensure that they are safe to be used!!!

This is what makes it “ok” for people to sell unsafe products

Cloud platforms… a brand new unseen product that is going to be released at tomorrow’s Hamster fair!

These will be available at our stand with different leg length options depending on your preference.

These are cute and aesthetic, yet hamster safe platforms, we might even have to steal one for Leo! 😆

We will also be offering a wide range of stilts in different lengths as well as our usual wavy platforms and our new rectangular platforms too, so don’t forget to pop by to take a look!

Here’s a reminder for anyone coming to our stall at hamster fair… 🐹

In case you didn’t see our recent post, we will not be bringing any wavy sand boxes to the fair. We will however, be taking preorders for these sandboxes! These will also be at a discounted price and will include the option to either have stilts or not depending on your preference. We will then send these out to you asap for your hamsters to enjoy

We are really upset we couldn’t bring these for everyone. They’re very time consuming to make, but also have the option with/without legs, so some would need holes, so would be very difficult for us to make along with everything else we are bringing for you all.

However we are bringing stilts in a range of lengths, which were not at the fair last year!

We’re all so excited here and we can’t wait to see you all there, it will be so lovely to meet everyone! 🐹🐹🐹

A giant custom castle 😱
We designed, cut and hand finished this very large castle for some lucky bunnies here in the UK who have a very good taste in bun bun castles. This has to be one of our favourites!

🏰🐰

The turrets of this castle are a little larger than our usual castles and can even fit a giant bunny. It’s large arched entrances make it look sleek and clean as well as the cute bunny design on top make it look adorable. The tunnel is connected to the turret with interlocking tabs to ensure the surface is flat so that you can place a pillow on top for extra comfort, as well as we placed a ramp at the front for easy access.

We really hope these bunnies love this castle as much as we do!

Our brand new Ikea Detolf lids are releasing today! 🐹🥰

These lids have a sleek robust design, also the mesh is sandwiched between the wood, so no staples are involved in keeping the lid together, to prevent your little one from getting hurt.

These lids were originally designed as a custom order for someone and we ran into a problem when we discussed that their Detolf did not have bars so…

This design allows you to use this lid whether you have the Ikea detolf bars or not!

As we know (from experience) female Syrian hamsters are known for their eagerness to escape and chew on bars. While some are not like this and we would always recommend a female Syrian to anyone, having the bars in a detolf is just not possible when it comes to chewers. So we created a lid that would accommodate for not having the bars or if you do you can just as easily use this lid too.

Underneath the lid you can see a groove that has been cut out, this is so that the lid can sit comfortably on top of the detolf glass as well as you can slide it across to the other side for convenience when accessing the cage.

These adorable little additions to your piggies enclosure will make a great place for naps and cuddles.

The standard Bunk Bed is for the small pigs or the pigs that don’t mind more enclosed spaces, any average piggy will fit into this comfortably.

The large Bunk Bed is for extra chonky, jumbo pigs or piggies that just love the extra leg room, just like Boris although he is the smallest of all of our pigs his hair makes him extra large! So this size fits him perfectly although he does love to squeeze on to the standard Bunk Bed with his ladies 🐷

This is great for ocean cage themes or it can even be used for your hamsters free roam time.

there is an arch that leads beneath the ship with a ramp at the back to help your hammy reach the top.

it is customisable in two different ways; the first is a hole in the center floor so that your hamster can go beneath the ship from the top or you can choose not to have the hole so that the floor is solid.

This size is great for all hamsters especially Syrians, the holes are the correct size as well so they will not feel cramped while on board.

Three different multi chamber dig boxes are coming soon to our website and Etsy!

The first dig box, has three separate partitions with the lid on top of the back chamber allowing your hamster more privacy to feel comfortable to dig. The second dig box is the same style as the first except it is slightly smaller and completely open all the way around. The third has four separate sections to the dig box, with each section being removable if you wanted to have less sections to your dig box. These all allow you to add different substrates to each section of the dig box for your hamster to enjoy, adding extra enrichment and stimulation to your hamsters cage.

We have had poppy now for a couple of months and she has settled in beautifully, poppet is very pleased with her new sister and they get on very well, they are so close already and love to popcorn together, we can’t believe how well they suit each other and they truly do love each other.
