Price increase.

With the constant inflation of products equipment & bills I unfortunately have to increase my prices accordingly. I haven’t had a price increase in over 3 years. The new price list will come into place on the 1st September. Thank you all for your continued support and understanding ☺️ 🐶 💗

Meet Gracie 😍 I was so excited to groom this dog but was also a little worried as to what she’d be like given this was her first proper groom at 8 months old. Well she was a DREAM! Her owner has done such a fantastic job home grooming her till now 🥰

So while I’ve not been allowed to groom all your lovely dogs I’ve been experimenting with new products on my own 😂 Willow has been moulting so bad recently I wanted to find a product that really helped with this! Not only did the work but it also smells delicious 😍 it’s like a spa mud bath for dogs who are shedding excessively. Thinking of offering this as a add on service 🐶💆🏻‍♀️

Good evening everyone. All being well we are aiming to re-open on the 12th April. All appointments from that date that are already booked in will still stand. I will be contacting everyone closer to the time (just incase!) that was booked in in the order that they were cancelled and again like last time asking those of you that can hold out a little bit longer to do so so that I can get the worst cases in first. Thank you all so much for your patience and support and I hope this will be the last time we have to do this! I’m sorry but I will be unable to book any new appointments in until I’m caught up. WE ARE CLOSED ‼️

Dear all my wonderful customers I’m afraid it’s not good news for lockdown 3.0. All appointments for the next 6 weeks are cancelled.

I finally received confirmation this afternoon that I must close for this current lockdown with the exception of ‘welfare cases’ which I know can be interpreted differently but Telford and Wrekin Council have made it crystal clear that in this case it means that unless your dog is severely matted or in extreme discomfort then you should be able to maintain their coats at home.

I know that this is not ideal but we’ve got through this once before and we will get through it again! My main concern is keeping everyone as safe as possible in these uncertain and worrying times.

I am always at the end of the phone for any grooming advice you may need or you can message me on here. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you think your dog is suffering due to the fact of not having their groom or you’re struggling to maintain their coat at home. I do have a few shampoos and fragrance sprays left if anyone would like any I can deliver them locally.

I am really sad that we’re having to do this again, especially with all the strict COVID rules we have in place. I will contact you all in due course and hope to see you all as soon as it’s safe to do so.

We will reopen Monday 9th November with our strict COVID rules still in places and following all government guidelines. We will be making a few small changes to keep everyone as safe as possible.

🔔 As I brought as many appointments forward as possible at the beginning of the week I do some have availability if your dog meets the following criteria👇

We won’t be able to offer as many appointments as usual due to implementing all procedures required so please understand that we may have to move appointments round.

We can only groom dogs that would be classed as welfare ie. coats that will get matted and cause discomfort if not groomed. So unfortunately we will not be able to offer appointments for shorter coated breeds for now.

THE RULES ‼️

⚠️Please be on time for both dropping off and collecting your dogs as we are running to a schedule where other dogs and owners should not cross.

⚠️Only one person to enter the salon and wear a face covering (unless exempt)

⚠️Use the hand sanitiser

⚠️Place your dog in the pen in reception and remove all collars, leads etc and take them with you. (This is so that the hand over is contactless and we remain more than 2 metres apart) and much safer than trying to do this outside near the main road. Be as swift as possible to limit time spent inside.

⚠️Contactless payment

⚠️Please use your daily exercise to drop off and collect where possible or tie it in with an essential shopping trip.

I will of course still be following all the original Covid rules with regards to cleaning & disinfecting in between all dogs.

If you are at all unwell or anyone in your house is showing signs of COVID19 DO NOT attend your appointment please rearrange. Also do not attend if you have been told to self isolate by the NHS.

If you would rather not attend your appointment during these difficult times that is completely understandable but could you please let us know ASAP. We do not wish to encourage any unnecessary journeys but we are here to help should you feel it is essential for the welfare of your dog.

I’m sorry for a very long winded post but it is essential to keeping everyone as safe as possible and will also be displayed on the door to remind everyone ☺️

🎉 🎉 Good News! 🎉🎉

The Pet Industry Federation have released a statement this afternoon clarifying the current government guidelines and the good news is we can remain open! So all being well with regards to our insurance we are good to continue 🥳

Obviously our strict COVID rules will still apply and I will do another status with regards to that later! But for now I just wanted to share this news with you all!

It’s been a very long and stressful week with regards to if we can remain open or not and I’m sorry for the confusion but I’ve genuinely been as confused myself as I’m sure most groomers have 🙈 obviously if you would rather rearrange your appointment we fully understand but if you could let us know as soon as possible that would be great 😁

Morning, we’re understandably getting a lot of calls and messages in regards to appointments in the next couple of weeks and if we can remain open. Honestly I still don’t know where we stand but ultimately we just want to keep everyone as safe as possible. We are hopeful going to get a more definite answer today at some point. Fantastic opportunity for self employed Dog Groomer to rent a table in a busy well established salon in Newport Shropshire.
You will be required to work 2/3 days per week and at least 2 Saturdays per month.

⭐️ You should be able to groom dogs to a high standard
⭐️The absolute best care and attention must be given to pets at all times
⭐️You must provide 5 star customer service and have a friendly outgoing personality
⭐️Ideally have City and Guilds/OCN level 3 in dog grooming but experience in a busy salon is more important
⭐️Cleanliness and hygiene of the salon must be maintained
