Meet Sabrina!
This gorgeous girl is a little shy but very affectionate
A huge thank you to everyone who came out last weekend to show their support at the Telford Balloon Fiesta. We had such a great time meeting everyone and raised an amazing £1000!
An extra special thanks goes to all our amazing volunteers who gave up their weekends to make it happen 💜
Our branch is run completely by volunteers and all monies raised are used to help cats and kittens across the the Telford area.
Meet Alvin, Theodore and Dave!
These three gorgeous boys were found left in a garden after the tenants had moved out :(
They are very sweet boys who just want lots of love.
Great community spirit being displayed by the local law enforcement. If you’re out and about see if you can spot them proudly displaying a Cats Protection badge 💜
We’re back at Telford Town Park for day 2 of the Balloon Fiesta. Sadly the wind means that the balloons will probably be unable to take off but there’s still plenty of fun filled activities and things to see and do.
We’re having so much fun at today’s ballon fiesta. Look out for our purple marquee and come and check out everything we have on offer 💜
There’s so much going on today at Telford Town Park. If you’re planning to visit make sure you stop by and say hello to us too. You’ll find us close to the visitor centre.
Update: lucky Nova, River and Echo have all been homed together today

Do you know who this cat belongs to it is currently around Briggs Way Wrockwardine Wood Telford for the last week? Not too sure if it is a stray or lost cat. Please call 01952 305645 if you have any information.

Poor Garfield is still in care 😔 He is such a loving and friendly boy but keeps getting overlooked because of his stress-related cystitis.
We know that taking on a cat with a health condition can be a big ask but we hope that being in a peaceful home environment will minimise any future issues. We’re also happy to discuss providing ongoing support with his new owners.
If you think your home would be the perfect place for Garfield to call his own please get in touch. https://www.cats.org.uk/telford -22162
Look at the stunning Nala!
Nala was adopted earlier this year and is now living the dream in her forever home. Her new owner recently got in touch saying: "I just wanted to touch base and say.. thank you. She has brought so much joy to our house. She is a right little princess."
We couldn't agree more, she really is a princess and we are all super impressed with her amazing catio!
Hard times for everyone currently but stealing charity collection tins is outrageous
Sadly, we have had our Cats Protection charity box stolen over the weekend 😥
We are keen supporters of this wonderful charity, all the good work they do and the help they have given to many of our clients and stray cats across the area. We now have a replacement collection box on our reception desk for any loose change you may have 🐾

Absolutely disgusted to report that our collection tin has been stolen from Vets4Pets Inside Pets at Home, Wellington.
Telford branch volunteers Lou, Carl, Amanda and Louise raised an amazing £360.87 yesterday at Cuan Wildlife day. Thank you to all who came and supported us.
Volunteers met up with a new friend too!
Don’t forget we’re at the Cuan Wildlife Rescue Open Day & Dog Show all day today in our brand new purple gazebo!
We have a selection of cat themed goodies and a chance to win on our tombola so if you’re looking for something to do why not pop by and say hello!

Bear has now been adopted. He's going to be very spoilt and miles away from any roads <3 Beautiful Bear is still waiting patiently for his forever home. He’s just 11 months old and the sweetest and most affectionate boy you could ever meet. www.cats.org.uk/telford
Updated: We're so pleased that Garfield has finally found his new forever home. We hope him and his new owner will have many happy years together <3 Can you believe that lovely Garfield has been with us for months?! Garfield is a true ginger cat: bouncy, playful and confident with a mischievous streak! When not working his way through all the cat toys we have, Garfield loves to sunbathe and will happily do so for hours on end with his new owner. He’s looking for a more mature family, maybe with older children and no other pets. He’ll thrive in an area with lots of outdoor space to explore but won’t be out long before heading back for a fuss! If you or someone you know could give Garfield his ideal home, get in touch or tag them below!
Update: We're so happy that Poppy and Diego have now gone to their new home together :) Poppy and Diego are so loving and playful. It’s so sad they’ve had such little interest 😔😢
Update: Binx has now gone off to his forever home. ❤ The beautiful Binx is still searching for his forever home. He’s a very friendly boy as you can see, just look how much he’s enjoying a fuss ❤️ https://www.cats.org.uk/telford#adopt-20576
Update: Sparky has now gone off to his forever home <3 Sparky came to us with his mum and siblings after being abandoned at an industrial site when he was just 8 weeks old. We have worked really hard with him and he has come a long way compared to when he first arrived but now feel he would flourish best in a home environment. If you're an experienced cat owner looking for a new feline friend, Sparky could be the perfect companion. Find out more: https://www.cats.org.uk/telford#adopt-19256
Update: Beanz has now gone to her new home! Good luck Beanz <3 Beanz is a pretty and playful cat still looking for her forever home. She came to us with stress related cystitis but this has now cleared now she’s in a lower stress environment. Find out more here: https://www.cats.org.uk/telford?gad_source=1#adopt-16922
A very BIG thank you to all our fabulous volunteers and supporters for your hard work and love for all things cats! This year you have enabled 104 Telford cats to find loving new homes. Our Community Kitty Food Bank project provided over 2,000 (two thousand!) meals for cats in Telford. Our new £10 CP neutering and microchip scheme has been a huge success in Telford and well supported by vet practices. We have had a tough and very busy year with our feral and TNR work with so many unwanted cats and kittens still being abandoned. Our new pen block at Chetwynd Firs has been a phenomenal success helped by our gorgeous cat cuddlers! Our market shop at Wellington is going from strength to strength and our loyal customers and supporters are fabulous as are the friendships we have made with other stall holders whose support for us is very much appreciated. Our Branch is so fortunate to have such dedicated team members and branch supporters. Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year - you are all absolute stars. Tracy
Congratulations to our winter raffle winners. Watch the video to find out who they are…
Update: Prudence has now gone to her new home <3 Prudence is still looking for her forever home. She may be 13 but as you can see she is still a kitten at heart! If you're interested in adopting Prudence or any of our other cats full details are on our website: https://www.cats.org.uk/telford
Update: Tux has now been rehomed <3 Meet Tux! Tux is a lovely boy. He can be a little shy at first soon comes out for fusses and will reward you with lots of purrs Full details can be found at www.cats.org.uk/telford
Meet Sammie! Sammie is a really sweet boy. He can be a little shy at first but soon comes out for a good chin rub and some fuss. Full details are available at www.cats.org.uk/telford
Update: Tallulah has now gone to her forever home <3 Meet, Tallulah, a three-year-old cat who came to us with her two kittens (Bailey and Splodge). She is now looking for a forever home of her own and has so much love to give. She is a talkative and affectionate cat so she would need to live with someone who will be home often. She does not like dogs but has previously lived with another cat, so a friendly feline companion may be a possibility with a gentle introduction. For more information and details of our adoption process please visit https://www.cats.org.uk/telford
Update: All kittens have now gone to thier forever home <3 Meet Fanta (red collar), Twist (blue collar) and Lemon (purple collar)! These three playful kittens have come from a nearby farm where we've been conducting Trap, Neuter and Return work. They would be the perfect addition to a family home, although they haven't been raised around young ones so may be more suitable for households with older children. To find out more visit https://www.cats.org.uk/telford
