Penny and Lisa at Dogs R Us have over 30 years combined grooming experience and we both work and show our own dogs. We offer a competitively priced service tailored to suit you and your dog's needs in our dedicated and fully equipped salon - including a free pre-groom consultation, bath, dry, all clipper and scissor work, nail clip and ear pluck if needed. Monty is a long standing client, now one of our seniors and much loved by Lisa and I. Today he came in for a ‘summer cut’. Many of our clients choose to have a ‘winter’ or ‘summer’ cut, a similar style but slightly longer for the winter to allow for the colder weather.
As he’s got older Monty is less happy to be dried with our bigger drier and prefers a snooze under our smaller, more gentle drier - not uncommon for older dogs. His owner understands that our first priority is to causing as less stress as possible to Monty and is happy for him to be with us a bit longer for his groom. We don’t charge Monty’s mum any more for this, it’s all about making Monty feel safe and comfortable💕

Bengee came to see us today, his third visit. First visit he was a little unsettled, unsure of the driers and a little bit vocal. There was a marked improvement the second time he visited but we took it at his pace. Today he came in like an old pro and took it all in his stride, totally at ease with us and the environment💕

Today we had the pleasure of grooming Milo, a regular visitor that comes about every nine weeks. Quite a tight coat but his mum and dad obviously take great pride in his grooming as he always turns up in immaculate condition🥰

Gloria came for a pamper today, she’s one of our regular clients. She’s recently celebrated her 14th birthday - such a gentle soul, a pleasure to groom and gives the best kisses. Summer ready now☀️

Today we met Oscar, he is very densely coated and it grows very quickly. We listened to what Oscar’s owners wanted and we did our best to meet their expectations, they were thrilled.
Here to offer advice on grooming and the equipment to use, all aimed at making the whole grooming experience at home easier🐾
