Update

Hi all hope everyone is keeping well and enjoying this great weather when you can.

With regards to my recovery it's going to take a while as they haven't been able to use plates and screws to stabilise my neck they have had to make do with removing bone from my vertebra to release the pressure on my nerves which means I will still have issues with weakness on my left side and as they have had to cut through my neck muscles it will take sometime for them to fully heal and to build them back up again. This means I won't be able to offer dog walking when I get back to working.
I will be focusing on pet sits, pawdicures, pop in visits and teeth cleaning ect.

This has been a very tough time with fighting to get seen and sorted after my operation had been cancelled twice and it taking 8 months to actually getting referred to the spinal consultant and I still haven't gotten to getting my rotar cuff injury sorted so I don't know how that will play out yet.

Thank you all ever so much for understanding how difficult this has been and your support means the world to me.

Missing all the pups it's unreal

At last!!

Had my operation yesterday and it being cancelled and then changed without warning. Finally I am on the mend it's going to take a good 6-8 months to recovery and then start slowly back into things I hope.

Hi all,

Update time I was ment to go for surgery today but unfortunately it has been change to July due to me having other health issues. So now I am back to waiting till July 17th.

Life is frustrating me at the moment as I am still no further forward in finding out the extent of my shoulder issues which I have lost mobility in and have extreme pain. Trying to find any types of work I can do from home without sitting at a desk for too long is like rocking horse poo.

After having a long chat with my surgeon and finding out how It will affect me after surgery. Worst case I may need more surgery, will definitely have to have extensive physiotherapy for a couple of months and will be in a fixed collar for 6-8 weeks.

All this means I will not be able to offer walks for quite sometime. However my daughter will be available for pop in visits.

I will keep you all posted.

Hi all,

Latest update I am hopefully going for sugery on the 16th May. I have my pre op next week so will know more then.

It's an extensive operation and will take up to 18 months for a full recovery. Still waiting on finding out about the damage to my shoulder tho.

This last 10 months have been really difficult not only mentally but emotionally I have struggled alot. But hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel.

I thank you all from the heart for every message, call and card I have received its all of you and my family that are getting me though this.

Max is missing his buddies like mad and is also depressed too. 😔

Hi all,

I'm still not able to work which is driving me totally insane!!

Christmas shopping has been a nightmare and as things are quite tight this Christmas I haven't don't doggy Christmas gifts so I will make a donation to a doggy rescue.

Max has been very depressed in not seeing his friends so the kids decided he deserved to be spoiled a little bit so not only did he have a fantastic groom by Alex from

He also had a hydrotherapy session with Choice Hydrotherapy thank you so much

We also have treated him to an amazing new dog coat by Thermatex so a massive thank you to all of you max loves his new coat.

Note he has had his blue coat since he was 6 months old and has spent many days out walking and playing with his friends in it and it has last and still going strong even with a few holes in it.

Just a quick up date due to the state of our NHS I am still waiting to see the spinal consultant team, due to one mess up after another everything has been delayed untill I get my MRI's I also have a rotor cuff tendon injury which they are not sure if its a full or partial tear yet so I'm still unable to work.
