This is the beautiful Elsa and this is her lovely story ❤️ :

Elsa was trained by Mrs B as a hearing aid dog and after training was complete she went off to her new home to carry out her important work. 4 Years later she went back to the hearing aid centre as her owner had sadly passed away.

Mr B was then told that he was hard of hearing (Mrs B was getting fed up shouting his name constantly!) and found out he was eligible for a hearing aid dog. They applied for Elsa and they got her back!

She is such a clever dog, if an alarm or timer is going off she bops Mr B on the leg until he gets up. She is a real gem, and we are so glad she is back to doing what she does best.💖

Meet Suki and Willow. These beautiful sisters have just been in for their first vaccines and health checks. They both signed up to the Pet Health Club plus and now have four weeks free petplan insurance as well, in case they have any mishaps! They are so lovely and we can’t wait to see them again in a few weeks for their second vaccines 😻

Young, female, all white ferret has been handed in! She’s been found near Audley Park in Newport and not chipped.

We’d like to take a moment to say we are thinking of you all this Christmas for those who feel things just aren’t the same. Whether you have just sadly said goodbye to your pet or whether it was a long time ago, this time of year without them can be the hardest time of all. You are not alone.❤️

Happy Monday folks!🎅🏻

We love a success story here at Tern Vets and we’d like to introduce you to the gorgeous Chloe!😍

Chloe is a 9 month old Lab who came into practice after she’d been sick a few times, unable to keep her food down, even after some medication.

She stayed in the hospital with us and there was a concern she perhaps had eaten something she shouldn’t! She was a poorly girl, and with some further diagnostics, we had no choice but to perform an exploratory laparotomy under general anaesthetic to find the culprit.👀

Inside Chloe’s stomach was the end of a towel she’d eaten!😱 It was blocking anything from passing through the digestive tract.

Chloe recovered well from her surgery, and with the help of our overnight care provider and our wonderful nursing team, she went home the next evening!🥰

We’ve seen Chloe back in practice a few times and she’s looking right as rain, all signed off.🙌🏻

Here’s to Chloe…🩷 We hope you’re still doing well at home and have a fabulous Christmas!🎄
