So pleased with Smokey and Whitmore today! First time ever xc schooling for both of them and they were awesome 🤩 great fun freshening them up ahead of their runs this week! And both are going to make brilliant eventers when they retire 😍

Also great to have Harley ride out for a couple of days! Just 10 years old, first time schooling racehorses (Whitmore & Bear) Harley has our pony Africa for pony racing and is doing a fantastic job with her, winning her last race of last season. We are excited to follow their progress again this season 🍀
Smokey - will be ready mid October
Arthur - wants it as wet as possible so in no rush with him
Sammy - will look to run when we get significant rain, likely November time
Crumpet - he’s only 4 and just keeps on growing! He will keep progressing on slowly and if he’s mature enough might have a bumper run in the spring but will be no pressure on him
Bear - is going to have a fun winter hunting with Fleur, and he will let us know if he fancies a few runs in the spring 🤣
Whitmore - will be ready to go again towards the end of the month

16.2 7yo mare. Retired from racing sound, just not in love with the game - only ran 3 weeks ago!
Taken to re-schooling like a duck to water. This is her first ever go at show jumps and cross country! Will make someone a really fun competition horse. Great attitude and easy to do in every way but not a complete novice ride.

Martha will have a run in a novice hurdle towards the end of October then hopefully go chasing
Nicky will go novice hurdling towards the end of the month
Darcy will be mastering opening meet with the Radnor
Arthur will make his hurdle debut towards the end of the month
Bear will be going pointing again with Fleur Worsley
Smokey goes to Sedgefield on Wednesday
Nigel will run end of the month, hopefully Bangor-on-Dee racecourse so everyone can have a really yummy lunch
So pleased with the attitude of my lovely 3yo Crumpet, takes everything in his stride! Exciting future ahead hopefully 🤞 no rush with him, he will be given plenty of time to grow and mature.
