You’ll find our store in Unit 25 on the Leigh Green Industrial Estate, open six days a week. Our friendly, knowledgeable team will be happy to help you find what you’re looking for in-store. With plenty of dedicated off-road parking,

we want our Kent-based customers to view us as their one-stop-shop for animal feeds, treats and accessories, all at comparably cheaper prices than supermarket products. This store was formerly known as Animal Feed Supplies and is now the newest addition to the Gladwells Pet & Country Store family! Services we offer include:

Here at the Tenterden store, you will find all things pet and animal, spread over two floors! From equine feed and supplements to bedding we have everything to keep your stable fully stocked! We also have a great range of smallholder feed to keep your livestock and poultry happy. You will find an enormous range of pet supplies, feed and accessories for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, reptiles and caged birds. (Please note we do not sell animals in store). For the anglers amongst you, we stock an ever expanding range of fishing baits including boilies, particles and pellets along with a small range of tackle box essentials to keep you on the bank for longer. And what would a country store be without plenty of supplies for your garden including wild bird seed, bird feeders, compost, winter fuel and more. Our Branch Manager and the team look forward to welcoming you in store very soon where pets are more than companions… they’re family.

The RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch is happening 24th-26th January! 🐦

Wild birds can be spotted in many of our gardens and Winter is an important time for lending struggling birds a helping hand. Here are four tips from Gladwells Pet & Country Store to get your garden bird-spotting ready this Winter...

🥜 Replenish bird feeders with high quality feed. We have a wide range of seed mixes, nuts and suet for wild birds in our stores and online.

🧼 Keep feeders and bird baths clean regularly to avoid contamination to protect other birds and yourself. Always use gloves when cleaning.

💦 Create a water supply for thirsty birds. In Winter ice can cause issues with wild birds accessing their regular water sources. You can leave out a small bath of water which is topped up daily with slightly warm water to provide a quick drink.

🏠 Place bird boxes in your garden to provide nest spaces to shelter birds in Winter. Try to aim for quiet spots which can't be easily reached by predators such as cats.

January is national walk your dog month! 🐶 Here are 4 top tips from us at Gladwells Pet & Country Store...

🐾 If weather turns icy or you even see some snow, keep dogs on a lead at all times to keep them safe. Snow can hide a number of dangers if you're not familiar with the area.

🐾 Make sure your dog's collar has identification tags attached and is microchipped with the correct contact information in case you get separated.

🐾 Winter usually means shorter and colder walks which don't leave as much time for exploring and adventure. Try adding some simple treat based training on your walks to keep pets busy even on nearby pathways.

🐾 Remember to dress your dog, and yourself, in plenty of visible clothing and accessories so that you can be seen when walking in the dark. Hi vis coats and light up tags are great for this, but only use what your pet is comfortable with to avoid distress.

Gladwells Pet & Country Stores collected donations for local charities across the country as our Christmas Charity Campaign returned for it’s fifth year in 2024. Customers shopping during the festive season could add £1 to their total when shopping with us in stores.

2024 has been a hard year for many and charities have been hit especially hard with the rising costs involved in keeping a charity’s doors open. Here at Gladwells, we wanted to help give something back to our local communities and what better time for a gift than Christmas!

Customers were generous to give what they could during Christmas, and we are excited to announce that our store raised £138 for Canterbury Oast Trust! The campaign that ran countrywide raised a total of £6588 for 11 different charities, including COT.

A massive thank you to everyone that donated every single pound. 100% of the money raised goes directly to the charities our stores chose to support.
