⭐️ CRUFTS 2025 ⭐️
Last Sunday we had the pleasure of attending crufts 2025 for the best in show! It was a fab day of watching grooming demonstrations, shopping, cuddling doggies and watching agility/flyball.

Thank you once again to all of you who have contributed to our hair recycling scheme. Our next box is now ready to be taken away. We really appreciate your support in just paying that extra £1 to send your dogs hair for recycling instead of landfill.

Beautiful Tinkerbell came to see us for her regular groom. Previously she had been handstripped, but due to health reasons this was no longer feasible. After a discussion with her owner we switched to clipping to keep her comfortable.

Tinkerbell took the switch in her stride and as you can see nearly fell asleep on the table!

Lovely Monty came to see us for his full groom today. He's been visiting us for around 4-5 years and started off very nervous but as you can see he's now so much more confident and even jumps back up on the table when he's finished! (Although that might be for the extra cuddles and attention 👀) ❤️❤️

Our Bella has had a lovely freshen up ready for the vets tomorrow. She will be having some more teeth out. Due to her age and poor breeding, she has already had alot of teeth out. She now needs more out, so will be left with very few. She will be alot more comfortable having them removed.
Hopefully she will be back in the salon by the end of the week 🦷🐕

A recent post from the local Town Council(Tewkesbury), Avian Bird Flu has been detected near by. This is a Zoonotic disease so it could put your dog(s) or you at risk. Please take care. 🐕

Sadly, a swan died recently on the Severn Ham and the cause of death has now been confirmed as H5N1 avian flu.

Visitors to the Severn Ham are asked to follow this guidance to reduce the risk of other birds becoming infected.
• Please do not touch any sick or dead wild birds – including swans, Canada geese, ducks and birds of prey
• Please do not feed the swans/ducks/gulls (or pigeons) ; when they crowd together this increases risk of infection
• Do not touch wild bird feathers or surfaces contaminated with bird droppings
• Please keep to the footpath
• Keep dogs on a lead and don’t let them touch dead or sick wild birds
• Garden birds seem less likely to be infected (see links below)

The Town Council’s Conservation Adviser is regularly monitoring the bird population on the Severn Ham. Signs warning that Bird Flu has been detected in the area have been erected at entrance points to the Severn Ham. Should any further birds become very unwell or die, the Town Council has plans in place to cordon off the area and arrange for safe removal.

Gorgeous Teddy comes to see us every 4 weeks alternating full grooms and mini grooms to keep his coat long, fluffy and knot free! He's such a sweetheart and we love sneaking in extra snuggles!
