I think we made the right decision…..☔️💧🌧️

We have kept an eye on the forecast all day and it seems to have continued to get worse!!

Due to the high winds and heavy constant rainfall that is forecast we feel the best decision for the horses and for the children is to cancel this weekends lessons.

Hopefully we have made the right call but wanted to make the decision tonight in order to give everybody enough notice.

The next weekend that will be on is 7th and 8th December, we will transfer all bookings for this weekend to those dates.

The flooding has gone! We will be going ahead this weekend. We have booked everyone in as per their times on the 28th and 29th Sept unless we have spoken to you and changed it. Please do let us know if you cannot make it as we are now full and turning people away.

CLOSED DUE TO FLOODING

We are sorry to announce so early into the winter but we have flooded! This weeks rain has caused the car park and arena to flood as well as access to two routes into the riding school.

We are forced to abandon this weekends lessons with the the water still rising we are sorry to let everyone down however for the safety of our horses and our wonderful customers we just have to do the right thing.

EVERYONE WILL BE REBOOKED FOR TWO WEEKS TIME AND WE WILL PROVIDE AN UPDATE ON THE WATER.

We are so sorry to be writing this post AGAIN but it seems the English summer is only deciding to appear when we are having pony days! Due to the high temperatures forecast tomorrow we have no choice but to postpone tomorrow's sessions for the welfare of both the ponies and the children.

We have decided to reschedule to Friday 16th August as the temperature is meant to be much lower. We will contact all of the booked children shortly but will book everyone in for the same times on 16th unless notified otherwise.

Thank you for your understanding, we hate letting people down.

Due to the forecast high temperatures tomorrow we are making the decision to reschedule the second session (1-3pm) to Tuesday 27th August 10am-12pm. We will be in contact with all that are booked in this evening.

The morning session will go ahead as planned.

Happy end of school year!

Just a reminder that we are now shut for lessons over the holidays, apart from the 4 pony session days that have been advertised.

Next weekend we are back is Saturday 31st Aug and Sunday 1st Sept.

If you attended last weekend (6th and 7th July) then we will automatically book you back in for the same time for 31st or 1st.

We are now able to announce the eagerly anticipated summer holiday pony sessions…..

Every session is 2 hours long and £35 per child. In order for the children to get the best out of the session, we have decided to split them into specific age groups this time.

Each session will include a range of :

Grooming
Stable management
Tacking up
Riding

Friday 26th July - 10am-12pm - Ages 5-9
Friday 26th July - 1pm-3pm - Ages 10-15

Wednesday 31st July - 10am-12pm - Ages 10-15
Wednesday 31st July - 1pm-3pm - Ages 5-9

Monday 12th August - 10am-12pm - Ages 5-9
Monday 12th August - 1pm-3pm - Ages 10-15

Tuesday 20th August - 10am-12pm - Ages 10-15
Tuesday 20th August - 1pm-3pm - Ages 5-9

WEATHER UPDATE: Due to the weather forecast this weekend we plan to do stable management sessions if it is too wet to ride. We will make this decision upon each lesson depending on the rain. All lessons will continue in some form.

Thank you for a lovely weekend all, it was certainly a hot one!!

We just wanted to gently remind everyone of our cancellation policy which is pinned to our page. If you cancel within 48 hours we do please ask for full payment due to staff costs and lack of time to fill the place.

We also wanted to let all of our lovely customers know that our next weekend of lessons is 6th and 7th July which will be our last before the summer break. We plan to then open again on the weekend of 31st August and 1st September.

We will of course be running our pony sessions throughout the 6 weeks holidays on weekdays so look out for posts with dates on for these in due course. ☀️
