There may never be two slippers, from the same pair, in the same part of the house at any one time, and there be toys all over the place ready for us to trip over and I may be woken up at 7am each morning with a puppy dramatically draping himself over my head… but we wouldn’t change a thing about puppy Teddy.

Our focus during his holiday has been to continue to build his confidence with some new experiences including joining us on a trip to Tewkesbury to do some chores, meeting friendly dogs and fellow villagers in Bredon, and trying banana 🤣

We couldn’t love this boy any more than we do… maybe it’s because we know his back story of being a street dog, or maybe it’s because of the way he bounces around the kitchen at mealtimes, joins me under the duvet at 4am or just because he has such a gentle, appreciative nature. Whatever the reason, we’re always sad to wave him goodbye.

The following article is absolutely shocking but as licensed home boarders we HAVE to get the message out that these unlicensed, illegal ‘home boarding’ settings are out there. These individuals welcome you and your dog into a perfectly lovely home but it can all be a front.

Of all the cockapoos who come to stay with us, Woody is the biggest and he gives big heartfelt cuddles to match.

Yes, I’ve had to share my pillow with him for the last two weeks at bedtime, we’ve not been able to hoover for two weeks (Woody is like me in that way… we both have a dislike of hoovering 🤣), and he’s a big boy to carry up to the bathroom if we’ve enjoyed a really muddy walk across the fields and he needs a bath, but we are totally smitten by him and will miss him hugely.

Remember Teddy the puppy who appeared at the end of the Happy Paws Home Boarding Christmas video?

I paid him a visit recently and he’s turning into a confident little boy who’s enjoying all
of the new experiences that life is throwing at him.

Crispy frozen grass and winter sun is his new favourite.

What a new year that was!

Spent again on the Scottish Borders, on the farm with Robin’s cousin Craig and Lisa… lots of mad weather, fizz, cheese, beach walks and of course dogs… perfect!
