Another lovely selection of Koi, that now have a video available on their website listing. These beautful Koi are between 32-38cm, and were born and bred on our farm last summer, as with all the Koi we sell.

Want to see them in person? You can visit the farm this coming Saturday (2nd of November) for our final Open Day of the year.

The Koi feautured in this video were available for sale at the time of posting, and are priced at £195 each.

Just ONE week to go until you have the chance to select through thousands of newly harvested Koi, that are available for sale for the first time.

We'll have 2-3", 3-4", 4-5" and 5-6" Koi available for you to pick through. These Koi were bred on our farm this year and after spending the summer in one of our mud ponds, are now ready to go to their new homes.

All the larger Koi we have available for sale on our website are also available to purchase and buy on this Open Day.

After this event day, these Small Koi will be available to purchase on our website, however, this will only be for a few weeks as they'll come back off sale over winter. Likely to be on sale online from early November until early December, weather-dependent. Once they go off sale, they won't be available again until March 2025.

📍 SATURDAY 2ND NOVEMBER!

Our doors are open to the general public on this day between 10am and 4pm for our Tosai Harvest Day.

This Open Day is the first chance customers have to pick through and buy from the newly harvested Koi that have come out of the mud ponds. At the end of the summer the ponds are drained down, and all the Koi are brought indoors. Only a small number of Tosai (a few thousand) are kept by us to grow on over winter in the heated Tosai House. The remaining tens of thousands of Koi are then brought on sale, and this Open Day is your first chance to buy them!

📏 We expect to have 2-3", 3-4", 4-5" & 5-6" available for sale. These are all new Koi, available to buy for the first time.

Are you interested in our larger Koi, and not just the Small Koi? Good news! All the Koi we have available for sale on our website will also be viewable and available to buy on this day.

After this event day, the Koi will be available to purchase on our website, however, this will only be for a few weeks as they'll come back off sale over Winter. Likely to be on sale online from early November until early December, weather-dependent. Once they go off sale, they won't be available again until March 2025.

Combining a high-quality photo with a video, we want to ensure our customers get the best idea of what each Koi is like before purchasing.

Mud pond harvesting on an autumnal day! 🍂🍁

Mark, Lewis and Neil have been busy harvesting a number of ponds in preparation for our Tosai Harvest Day (our third and final Open Day of the year).

One by one, all thirteen of our mud ponds will be netted and selected through within a two week period. A small number of Koi will then be selected to go into our Tosai House for the winter, and the remaining thousands of Koi will be brought on sale.

🎥🖥 You'll find out more about this process in the next episode of our YouTube series, due to come out in a few weeks.

The first chance you have to buy any Koi from these harvests will be Saturday 2nd of November at our Tosai Harvest Day, where you can hand select through the vast number of Koi that have come on sale for the first time. Customers attending this Open Day will have the first pick from these Koi, the best chance to find any hidden gems!

For customers who are unable to visit the farm on this day, these Koi will also be made available for purchase online on Saturday 2nd of November, and they'll be available to ship nationwide the week after.

Only ONE event day left for the year! ✅

Our third and final Open Day of the year is only a few weeks away. Our Tosai Harvest Day is mainly targeted at people who want the first pick from our Tosai (Koi bred on the farm this summer). However, all the Koi we have available for sale on our website will also be viewable and available to buy on this day.

By this date, all our mud ponds will have been harvested for the Winter, and tens of thousands of Koi that were bred on the farm over the summer will be ready for sale. The vast majority of these Koi will be sold in the Spring, but people coming to this event will get the first pick before Winter.

We expect to have 2-3", 3-4", 4-5" & 5-6" available for sale.

Metallic Magic ✨✨

A new batch of Koi have just been added to the website, including a lovely selection of Omosako bloodline metallic varieties. This includes a number of Platinum Ogon, Orenji Oogn, Gin Matsuba, Kin Matsuba, Tancho Kujaku, Doitsu Platinum Ogon and Doitsu Orenji Ogon. These Koi are all just over 1 year old, born and bred on our farm in 2023.

Adam Julyan is back with another batch of Koi Fry from us. Adam secured 1,000 Fry from Batch 4, and they look to have settled in perfectly!

We can't wait to see how he gets on with these beautiful fry. Thanks for the update Adam!

This video is my first batch of new fry for a few years and hopefully there will be more videos to come of these fry growing up.

Egg Development of Japanese Koi Fish (Hatching Under Microscope!) 🔬🔎

See the incredible development of a Koi Egg hatching right in front of your own eyes. From 6 hours post fertilisation to 8 days post fertilisation, the rapid change in these tiny fish is truly remarkable!

This short clip was taken from our last feature length documentary 'How To Breed Expensive Japanese Koi Fish' which is available to view on our YouTube Channel. The follow up film is already in production, and should be with you next month.

We can't wait to share with you how these Fry have developed over the Summer!

We would like to say a HUGE thank you to our seasonal staff as they come to the end of their summer with us. Annabel and Jess have worked tirelessly, packing and boxing up tons and tons of Koi food. Not only hard workers, they are also great personalities on the farm, and will be greatly missed.

We have some incredible Koi becoming available on our website tomorrow. And this stunning Isa bloodline Showa is no exception! Born and bred on the farm in 2022 (now 2 years old), this Showa spent the last year in our famous 'VIP pond' and is now an impressive 49cm.
