🌹FISH OF THE WEEK🌹
These shoaling fish get their name from their pink hue. Rosy tetra do well in a community set up alongside other Tetra, small catfish and other peaceful residents. As well other dither species, these tetras should have open areas available to swim as well as covered hiding spaces in the event that something was to spook them. Their diet should be high in insect protein, but kept varied. As they can live in mixed communities, we would recommend mixing a vegetable flake with the insect flake as well as offering live inverts and pellets are enriching treats.

👻FISH OF THE WEEK👻
Kicking off our month of spooky fish is the Glass fish, that appear almost like a ghastly apparition. These unusual tropical fish have a translucent flesh which as they hover around in their shoals gives them a ghost-like appearance. They will do well in a busy, but peaceful community system with tank mates such as Tetra and Guppy’s. The Glass fish should have a high protein diet made up of a base flake and bloodworm. Other invertebrates can be offered as an occasional treat.
