We held our first trial of the new year this morning, a foundation trial at a new venue.

The weather was freezing but that didn't stop these teams from giving us some wonderful searches to judge.

Our winners today were Janet and Dylan with Lindsey and Sully taking home the reserve medal

We gave out two synergy badges today. The first to Lindsey and Sully for their selection test. A perfect example of the dog knowing his job and the human trusting him completely.
The second was awarded to Becka and Roger for their interior search. Well done both of you.

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year.

We're looking forward to lots of sniffing this year.

We're starting the year with a foundation trial and workshop at a new venue. We've something a bit different planned for this workshop.

Our classes then start again on Wednesday at Thetford Rugby Club with additional classes on Mondays at Garboldisham Community Green. The format for classes at Garboldisham will vary in length from normal, one hour lessons to longer mini workshops.

The first introduction course at Thetford Rugby Club is full and we're looking forward to the introduction workshop in February at Rollesby.

We've fun sniffs planned at some wonderful museums across the county.

Just a very short video of yesterday's white dog working one of the elite stage hides. She'd been working for around 20 seconds and had chosen to move away and come back without any tasking from me. This is from when she chose to return to the hide. The trial teams picked this hide up from the other end of the carriage, all overshot and worked in from the end of the trolly. Half the dogs indicated underneath the trolly and half on top. Incidentally, the spaniels worked the top and the other breeds worked underneath
