Freedom fields are so perfect - we are lucky to have 2 rather fab fields. Here we are today with 3 of our favourite doggies and earlier with our own doggies at The Old Brick Kiln Freedom Field - Enjoying fresh air fun and playing ball. 💕💕💙🐾🐾 one lucky whoof gets 2 runs today 🥰

Oooh what a day! We are very excited to share that we passed our first years inspection. We are so happy as we totally love what we do and we think our doggies and clients are pretty special.

Thank you everyone for making my little dream a massive reality. So chuffed - the inspector said I cant be 5 stars until I have had the license 2 years but that I am doing everything and more to deserve that - so hopefully next year - He even said he would use use us if we were nearer to him - Cant get much better than that really.

Of course the main man is really the whole reason we can do this wonderful adventure and as always he was super gorgeous today.

I would highly recommend surepaws they go above and beyond to make sure your dog/dogs enjoy there stay giving them the home comforts that they have at home they are given loads of walks can't thank them enough for helping me out at short notice having my dogs for us and they are looking forward to there 2 stays in 2025.

So quiet here at SurePaws all fed and walked this am and now all snoozing away - love how you could hear a pin drop - the peacefulness of our location and the sleepy whoofs is such a relaxing feeling. Up at 645 which was a lie in really - so thank you whoofies so lovely 🥰🐾💕💙🐾. Michele Missy bless her - so snuggled. 💕

A lovely day for a walk and out first time back in the woods with our boy. He is almost healed completely still needs some more fur on his tail but its definitely coming. Its been the hardest time, but hes been amazing. Today was perfect with Sadie and his longterm love Missy 🥰. What a lovely Sunday -

Well done Bailey your face was all we needed to see. 💙🐾🐾

We are back home after an amazing holiday a tad busy but so nice to be home - hope everyone has been OK and those of you that have supported us throughout the year and of course the support we have had with Bailey - THANK YOU

Hugest thanks to our amazing friends that stayed with our furbabies while we enjoyed a lovely holiday with our family and grandchildren we are so very lucky :-)

A stunningly beautiful morning - lovely walk with our whoofs and family whoofs. We wont be posting for a few days - take care of your furbabies. We will be open again on the 8th - We have a few free dates due to cancellations we had to make for our gorgeous boy. He is well on the mend now. So if you are stuck with your whoofs at all do give us a text or email and I will see if we have the date/s you need.

*IMPORTANT*

Hi everyone this is not a post for work it truly isn’t we are extremely grateful to be so busy and in this climate we know we are very lucky.

It is really just to let everyone know we are filling up for next year already. May 2025 is now fully booked
June we are available from the 13th -25th only

July is fully booked -

August 18th onwards we have availability this is just really to let everyone know and to be aware that booking early even if you cancel may be worth letting me know. I would rather pencil you in than tell you I cant help.

*Bailey update*

After some extremely worrying weeks, yesterday we had some better news.

Its not brilliant, but it is a step forward we hope to the path of healing our poor baby.

I have learnt a lot recently and realised you have to keep on questioning and don’t leave things always to the expert’s.

Its been the saddest time for us and at times the feeling of failing Bailey was overwhelming - but I was glad I questioned nagged and insisted on a swab - why I had to do that I will never know - to me it was the most logical answer, treat with information - knowledge surely is the right treatment?

Yesterday the results were back and he has a “pseudomonas” infection in the wound - which is why its not healing - the vet was surprised although I wasnt I knew something was not right weeks ago - I should have asked more (I asked every single visit)

Thankfully we now have 2 antibiotics and so we are praying we are on the journey back to his happy waggy self.

We are still not out of the woods, it still needs cleaning twice a day and applying flammazine cream and further vet appointments to ensure the tablets and cream are working- but this still feels like a positive path.

Even though the new tablets he had been given had been labelled incorrectly different from the tablets in the packet🙈

Please always check what you are given for your babies - luckily for us they were the right tablets but I dont want to think about if they had not have been and I hadnt checked!!

Thankfully me being super annoying and making sure of everything as I always do I checked.

Anyway after yesterday- when I finally sat down and had time to think we both said arent we lucky, we know hes amazing and boy do we love him, but how lovely is it that he also has some amazing people around him - so many texts and messages of support and it really has helped us especially when I was at my wits end feeling like this was not ever going to end for him - thank you all so much you are all wonderful.

Through everything he has been the most loving boy every vet has said he truly is the most sweetest nature - he still needs to wear the cones both ends for a while.

He has however through this ordeal helped the vets invent a way to help heal tails - we were all determined to come up with something and we have it took a while mind.

So with everything hes been through I am going to try and actually get it designed and if it helps even one other doggie not go through what Bailey has then that will be amazing.

Its been a very tense emotional few weeks for SurePaws. Our main man resident doggie Bailey has been super poorly. We have coped mainly due to our super clients. Bailey has been through something we could never have foreseen and unfortunately is still very much at the begining of his journey due to this being his 2nd op love him - it’s been a really hard time for us all. We managed to keep going and the doggies have been amazing on a much smaller scale- Bailey is only allowed to mix with our Sadie so its been a bit lonely for him. We are determined to get him well again - fingers crossed he will be running free chasing a ball very soon.
