The sheep arrived on the farm a couple of weeks ago to eat the down the grass🐑 This is to allow more space in the spring for tillers to form, giving us even more lush grass by the summer!☀️ It will then be made in to hay, dust extracted, bagged up and sent to pet shops across the country 🐰

Just incase anyone comes across a small hog, (or any hog), in this weather, please seek advice from a trusted rescue.

Also with regard to our little wild birds, the ground is frozen solid, there are no insects (except the little blighter that seems to bite me regularly in our bedroom 😡), so please, please, just pop some food out for them to help them survive the cold. We will TAKE 10% OFF any wild bird feed from now until Christmas to help those of you that would like to help them ❤ Suet pellets, suet balls (good quality), sunflower hearts, mealworms are all high energy foods and your little garden visitors will be eternally grateful to have a full belly to go to sleep on ❤ It could well mean the difference between having an occupied nest box next Spring or an empty one 😕 We also stock food for the waterfowl inhabiting our lakes and waterways. Our local lake residents are having a tough time at the moment, so please, if you are out and about, feed them. Even bread, as long as it's not mouldy is better than nothing to keep them alive. Defrosted frozen sweetcorn, peas, lettuce, corn, will help them to stay alive through this awfully cold weather ❤ We all love to see the ducklings, goslings and signets in the Springtime, lets all try and look after them through the Winter ❤ x

Too all my Facebook followers please this is urgent. I know with this drop in temperature and the dark evening getting home from work has us all rushing to huddle in front of the fire but please before you all get cosy just check your rabbit or Guinea pig enclosure to make sure they have plenty of hay and straw to keep them warm and food and water to keep them nourished.
Just a quick check to ensure they are fine and cosy
I’m not after likes but if you could share this with any of your friends that have rabbits or Guinea pigs I’m sure there furry friends would appreciate it.

Keep your rabbits and guinea pigs stress free during the firework season with our top tips on firework safety for small animals
🐰 For indoor friends you can try to soundproof your house by closing windows and drawing curtains, for the fluffies in the fresh air outside sound proof using carpet, rugs or cardboard
🎆Playing relaxing music or watching TV can also help to muffle the loud bangs fireworks create
🐰Give your rabbit lots of extra bedding so they can burrow down into it and get cosy. Our Dust Extracted Barley Straw is perfect for this👌🏻
🎆Whilst overfeeding your pet is never the answer, you can consider distracting your pet by giving them a new toy or boredom breaker such as our Herbs-&-Hay Five-A-Day box!

It is so reassuring to see how passionate owners are about the well-being of there rabbits and there housing.
To help inspire others on rabbit housing we have decided to run a small competition where we can all show our rabbit housing and ideas on boredom breaking.
The photo with the most likes will receive 5 boxes of our herbs & hay sent to there home for there rabbits to enjoy.
To get everyone going here is my Harry Potter castle that I built for my daughter and her bunnie Luna lovegood.
With the run of the garden aswell Luna has all the room to play her favourite game quidditch.
So please simply post your photos of your rabbits enclosures to inspire others and help promote well being for all our rabbits and hopefully you will win the herbs and hay giveaway.
