We are making progress slowly... Once we have roofs fixed and a surface down, we're hoping to run the following training sessions;

🐾 Intro to Hoopers
- Canine hoopers is a low-impact, fun dog sport that involves dogs running through a series of hoops, navigating around barrels, and going through tunnels. Designed to be accessible for dogs of all sizes, ages, and abilities, hoopers focuses on flow and smooth, efficient movement. Handlers direct their dogs from a distance, promoting good communication and building handling skills. It's an inclusive activity that enhances a dog's agility and mental focus while minimizing physical strain, making it a great option for older dogs or those with joint issues, as well as younger, energetic dogs looking for a new challenge.

🐾 Tricks
- Dog tricks involve teaching a dog a variety of fun, engaging behaviors beyond basic obedience commands. These tricks can range from simple actions like "paw" "bow," or "spin" to more complex behaviors or sequences. Teaching tricks helps to mentally stimulate dogs, enhance their problem-solving skills, and build a stronger bond with their owners through positive reinforcement. It’s a fun and creative way for both the dog and handler to enjoy training sessions, while also impressing others with the dog's new talents!

🐾 Intro to dog dancing
- Dog dancing, also known as canine freestyle, is a creative and energetic dog sport where dogs and their handlers perform choreographed routines set to music. It combines obedience, tricks, and dance-like movements, showcasing the dog's agility, coordination, and ability to follow commands with precision. Handlers guide their dogs through a series of spins, jumps, weaves, and other moves, all timed to the rhythm of the music.

🐾 Intro to rally obedience
- rally is a fun and interactive dog sport where handlers and their dogs navigate a course composed of 10 to 20 stations, each presenting a different obedience task or command. Unlike traditional obedience, rally encourages a more relaxed atmosphere. Tasks range from simple commands like "sit" or "down" to more complex ones like "weave through cones" or "perform a 360-degree turn." The goal is to complete the course with accuracy and teamwork, making it an excellent way to strengthen the bond between dog and handler while reinforcing obedience skills.

I have some exciting news! Over the summer we moved to Picton, Nr Yarm. I am planning on starting classes again soon. We are currently smartening up our undercover training area and will hopefully have a secure field by next month πŸ˜€

I have recently completed the Canine Hoopers World Instructor training and plan to start off with hoopers classes and poopers (hoopers for puppies!) and a fun tricks classes to keep us warm, dry and motivated over the winter!

We will also be having beginner gun dog classes and 121s from a visiting gun dog trainer 🐾

I'm also planning a name change... And open to suggestions!! 😁
