🎄 It’s official! 🎄
Here at Yorkshire Feed & Country Store,

we’ve had a very special visit from the big man himself — and a few of his little elves too!

They’ve been busy decking out the shop with Christmas decorations, and the elves have been hard at work stacking the shelves with fabulous gifts for all our furry friends, wonderful children’s toys, and of course some lovely treats for the grown-ups as well!

Lost dog tracking dogs Eva & Gilbert were out on Tuesday & Eva again yesterday, and extensive searches on foot. Postering area has all been done.

There have been no sightings at all of Bertie

Have you been travelling on the A168 between Thirsk & Northallerton and seen a black dog loose? He may still have red lead attached.

Are you in the area and able to check CCTV, ring doorbells, check buildings, barns, hedges, they may be snagged by the lead.

Any sightings please report to the number on the poster, but please do not shout or chase him

We’re looking for a friendly and reliable weekend sales assistant to join our team!

🛍️ Role includes:
Helping customers with purchases
Restocking shelves and keeping the store tidy
Providing advice on pet care and animal feed

🐶 Pet knowledge is a big plus!

🐾 Dog First Aid Course – Hosted at our sister company CenterBarks 🐾

We’re excited to announce that we’ll be looking to host another Dog First Aid Course on Sunday 30th November 2025 from 12:00 – 16:30pm.

💷 Price: £45 per person, or bring a friend for just £60 (two people).
🍱 Sandwiches & Refreshments included.
📜 Everyone will receive a certificate of attendance.
👩‍⚕️ The course will be delivered by Dog First Aid South Yorkshire, experts in teaching essential, life-saving skills for dog owners.

Last year’s course was a huge success, and we’re thrilled to be able to offer it again! Whether you’re a new dog owner or have years of experience, this training provides invaluable knowledge that could make all the difference in an emergency.
