Thanks to everyone who wished me well for my birthday yesterday. I’m very humbled. As most of you know, today is the first anniversary of Kates passing. I’m so, so sad. I miss her so much and it’s really difficult to deal with some days. I’m going to St Leonard's Hospice later. They have been so supportive. Kate has her own page if you want to have a look. Thanks.

The opening times remain as 8.30am-5pm Monday-Saturday & 10am-4pm Sunday.

We are all looking forward to seeing all our new customers in Thirsk 🌟

Greens Country Store will open its doors as Millbry Hill Country Store from tomorrow.
The store will be open as usual
8.30am-5pm Monday-Saturday & 10am-4pm Sunday.
You will see the usual friendly faces behind the till & all the products you visit the store to buy!

Tomorrow, Tuesday 30th May, is the last ever trading day for Greens Farm Supplies at Thirsk Farmers Auction Mart. Kate and I started this business 20 years ago and we are so proud of what we have achieved. Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way, our staff, our suppliers, our family and friends and especially our loyal customers. I just wish my lovely Kate could be here to enjoy a well earned retirement with me. Sadly she can’t, but I know she will be smiling down on us all. Come and see us all tomorrow if you can. Good luck to the new owners Millbry Hill Country Store. Thank you all so much - it’s been a blast!

Tomorrow, Bank Holiday Monday, is the VERY LAST day that David Gill will be behind the counter at Greens. He has given over 40 years service to customers in our area so come in between 10am and 4pm to wish him well in his retirement. Thank you Dave for all your dedication and hard work. We will miss you.

Three days to go before we close our doors at 5 pm on Tuesday 30th May. We are also CLOSED all day Wednesday 31st May for stocktaking. Then, on Thursday 1st June we re-open as Millbry Hill! We have several bargains on many items that MUST go before then, so come in and see us. Plus, I’m giving everyone a copy of my latest book “Big tales from my little farm” in exchange for a donation to St Leonard’s Hospice who cared for Kate in her final days. To say a massive thank you to all our lovely customers, I am giving a FREE copy of my latest book in exchange for a contribution to St Leonard’s Hospice. This is available in store up until our last trading day Tuesday 30th May at 5 pm. Lots of funny and emotional stories from our Yorkshire farm, lots of pictures of my lovely Kate. Also the Foreword is by Julian Norton who has also written a chapter. Thank you all for supporting Kate and I over the past 20 years. She would be very proud.
