Larches Paw Paddock would like to thank all our lovely customers for your continued support throughout what has been the wettest winter we can remember. At times, the fields have been waterlogged and very muddy, but we are now (hopefully) through the worst of it and the ground is drying up well. The Meadow and Paddock have been mowed this week so bring on more daylight hours and sunshine!!

Larches provide a SAFE and SECURE dog exercise area, located on the edge of Thornbury. Offering a choice of 2 secure fields for exclusive use and hire. The Paddock and The Meadow are both 2 acres in size and enclosed with a 1.8m high fence.
There are plenty of stimulating elements for dogs of all sizes, ages and breeds and have been described as the perfect place to exercise your dog in a calm and tranquil environment. For more information and to book a session please visit their website

READY FOR SOME SUPER FUN CLASSES?! 😍😍

So this week I went to have a look around at the awesome venue that is the barn at Larches Paw Paddock and I cant wait to start holding some super fun classes there, as well as at Sharpness Village Hall!

What will group classes be like?

I'm excited to offer rolling club memberships that will allow you to become a part of a unique, encouraging, supportive and awesome community of likeminded people who basically want to have fun with their dog whilst also setting them up for success in day to day life- how your dog plays a game is how they will play life!

There will be two club membership options to start with;

🐶 Pawsome Puppy Club
-Fundamentals for puppies aged 12 weeks- 5 months old
-1 hour 15 minutes class/week
-Monthly subscription of £49 that will automatically be updated to our Rising Su-paw Stars Club Membership once your dog turns 5 months old
-Pawsome Puppy private Facebook group where you can share your wins, encourage others and learn more
-Telephone support in-between classes
- Additional weekly resources to supplement your dog training journey
-Small class sizes of maximum 6 for a more personal learning experience
- Plus lots of exciting extras....shh it's a surprise!

🐶 Rising Su-paw Stars Club
-Life skills for dogs aged 5+ months
-1 hour 15 minutes class/week
-Monthly subscription of £49
-Rising Su-paw Stars private Facebook group where you can share your wins, encourage others and learn more
-Telephone support in-between classes
- Additional weekly resources to supplement your dog training journey
-Small class sizes of maximum 6 for a more personal learning experience

When will classes be held?

🎉Our Thornbury classes at the barn will be held on Mondays and Fridays, times to be confirmed but most likely between 10am-2pm

🎉 Our Sharpness Village Hall classes will include evenings, weekends and possibly a weekday morning depending on availability

🌟 HAPPY NEW YEAR 🌟

Larches Paw Paddock would like to wish all our lovely customers a Happy New Year!

2022 has been the best year yet!

Following a small family discussion during Covid, we realised the demand to open a secure dog field; This was the beginning of Larches Paw Paddock.

We opened our first field, 'The Paddock' in June 2021, and haven't looked back since. With the ever increasing demand and customers struggling to book, we opened our second field 'The Meadow' in March 2022. Both fields are hugely popular and we are very grateful for our customers' support and allowing us to build a small family business during difficult times.

We continue to grow and have created a purpose built dog training facility called 'The Barn' where dog trainers can hire the space for their classes. For more information please email [email protected]
