And just like that my 14 years at Clippadog is over. It still doesn't feel real yet.
Major thanks to Adrian Hollingworth and Judi, for taking me on when I had bright pink hair, tattoos and piercings, young and stupid at 17 They put up with alot from me including many a time me coming straight to work from a night out.
Adrian you have been an absolute pain in my ass sometimes but you have supported me through everything in my life, you've always been selfless and put me first, even now in my leaving you're so supportive. Thank you for all you have done.
Lynlyn Miller my rock at work, keeping me sain, making me smile, making me roll my eyes and talking my ear off. I've found a real friend in you and I know that even though I'm gone, you're going to smash it and absolutely blossom at Clippadog. Nows your time to shine girl.
Thank you to all the amazing customers at Clippadog past and present. I've met some beautiful dogs and lovely owners, whom I'm really going to miss!!

I am totally lost for words. I only have 5 appointments remaining for my opening week 2nd August!
That is just incredible.

Hi! I'm Steffini, I thought no better time than now to introduce myself and let you know all about me and my journey - from how I started out up to now owning my own business.
Way back I was just 17 years old, studying animals at Myerscough College. I got a job on a Saturday at Clippadog just washing dogs. Initially I had never thought of dog grooming as a career. I was always driven towards vet nursing, but wanted working experience with animals. Fast forward a few years, I decided that dog grooming was the path for me, so I went full time at Clippadog.
Dog grooming isn't just a job and over the years I learnt that it is so rewarding. We get to know each and every dog. They are all so different, requiring different attention and have different needs.
As a groomer it is our job to notice what those are and work with the dog to provide a pleasant experience whilst achieving a high standard groom.
I feel so grateful to have met and know all the dogs I have in my years of grooming. They become part of the family, and as a groomer you create a bond of trust with these dogs.
Now after 14 amazing years at Clippadog, it is time for me to follow my dream and open my own dog grooming salon.
I'm so incredibly lucky to be in the position I am. My driving force for Darling Dog Spa is to create a lovely calm zen spa for dogs! Because who says dogs can't enjoy a spa too!
They deserve it.
Complete 1 on 1 appointments, so all my time and attention will solely be on that dog, this means I can take the time I need to make sure the dog is happy and comfortable with its grooming experience .
Whilst offering general dog grooming but also a variety of spa treatments, puppy packages and nail clipping. I have something for every dog.

I can't believe I'm writing this. After 14 years at Clippadog forging the path into the groomer I am today. I will be leaving Clippadog and from the start of August I will be opening my own dog grooming spa in a purpose built salon from home. I'm going to be heart broken leaving Clippadog, I'm going to miss all of your amazing beautiful dogs, our lovely customers and the amazing groomers Lyn and Adrian.
If I normally groom your dog then don't worry, either Lyn/Adrian will continue to groom your dog or you are more than welcome to follow me into Darling Dog Spa.
