🐎 Ken our full size horse mannequin participating in trapped jockey scenario training.

ℹ️ Ken has helped further in the horse and jockey welfare in training sessions at Salisbury and Larkhill, with veterinary teams, that include vets, vet nurses, horse ambulance personnel and ground staff.

🤩 Did anyone guess correctly?

🐴 Daisy is having her mouth washed out as she had severe diastema and two teeth removed as a consequence. Now Daisy has a really healthy mouth, the aim is to wash her mouth out regularly and stop any more food packing. It helps she is such a good girl and actually enjoys playing with the hose! 🥰 As you can see from the video, good positive reinforcement is made after it has been washed 🤩.

ℹ️ SJ joined the team January 2024, after working as Head girl and groom for an International event rider. 🐎

💊 Her role at the practice sees her running the pharmacy, sorting prescriptions & organising our client evenings, as well as our social media. 💻

🐕‍🦺 Outside of work SJ enjoys taking her 2 dogs Willow & Mika for walks on the forest & playing netball. ⛹️‍♀️

📣 New Arrival 🥳

🤩 We have invested in a second Cryosurgery unit for the treatment of skin tumours including sarcoids which appear to be increasingly common. We advise treatment is ideally carried out when the sarcoid and other tumours are still small. This is less traumatic for the patient, quicker and also can be cheaper ☺️

Saturday 28th June 2025 we are holding a charity/open day for the Staffie and Stray Rescue!!!

This is such a special event for us and we cannot wait to share every single detail we can with you 🥰

But for now heres what we can share 😋

✨ There will be a tack sale for horses, and stands for dogs too,
✨ We have invited along as many feed reps as we can who are ready to share all their professional and qualified advice with you (both horse and dog!),
✨ The Old Dairy Cafe will be holding a BBQ,
✨ We are also incredibly lucky to have the incredible Natalie Rivers - Vocalist coming down to do some live music for us too 😝😝
